normal speed hu sngs

Hi guys - first question since joining.

Literally just played my first two sngs on FTP at the 2s and each lasted 40 mins! Fortunately won them both, but I kinda assumed the players at the 2s were going to be dreadful. Did I just find myself a freak who wouldn't just hand his chips over?

and what are the average length of games as you step up the levels?

Well, the correct answer to this is a game is going tp last as long as it it meant to last (in order to win ofc) however, the avg reg speed on ftp w/ 1500 chips is between 7-18 minutes...give or take a few fish in there to make them quicker!!

My average is about 14 minutes for husng's. My longest lasted well over an hour.

It's not always just the strength of the opponent that prolongs the game...it's often the way the cards roll off.

But like Step DAAD says, a game will last as long it's supposed to. Don't rush it, you'll play plenty of matches that last one or two hands to make up for it.

I second both of the guys above. My advarage is 13.4 mins (which is about the norm) but just coz a game takes longer doesn't really matter.
