I signed up at betonline.com under brokerstar's link, and as I've expressed in another thread, the software is beyond horrible.
One major problem is that you are unable to enter a decimal point (".") in the bet amount box. You can imagine that this could possibly make life in microstakes very difficult. You are able to use a bet slider, but it is VERY slow and you cannot move it to precise amounts, which is especially bothersome preflop when the SB calls and if you want to raise, it's either 2x or 4x. You cannot get 3x in that situation.
Anyway, I put three customer support tickets to tech support. Each time they told that it works for them on their test account. However, chatting with others at various tables, I discovered that it works for NOBODY.
Here is another ridiculous conversation with a customer support rep I just had:

Ray Simmons: it start with B and several number
John: ok i'm trying to find it
John: if i log out of the client, then this window will close

Ray Simmons: i need that to see the ticket
John: had to find it
Ray Simmons: okay let me see
John: Am I still logged on?
Ray Simmons: okay it said to try again
John: does that mean they fixed it, or they just want me to try again for 100th time?
John: are they saying i'm an idiot and don't know how to enter a value in the bet box?
Ray Simmons: it said that it was done with a test acct and it work
John: because basically that's what my last round of replies from them said
John: lol that is the same reply i got last time.
John: Here is the problem...
John: and maybe they don't understand, but I will AGAIN spell it out...
John: NOBODY can enter a decimal point in the bet box
John: NOBODY
John: I have chatted with more than several players and NONE of them can enter a decimal point.
John: You can confirm this by entering on a chatty table and asking the players...
Ray Simmons: they done it on a test acct and it work
John: You will discover that the tech support team on their "test accounts" are the ONLY ones that enter a decimal point in the bet box
John: LOL
John: it DOES NOT WORK
John: FOR ANYBODY ELSE
John: I'm not kidding
John: it only works on the damn test account
John: lol
John: As I told the customer support rep last night, if they went onto a table and asked the players about that, they would discover that EVERYONE has this SAME problem
Ray Simmons: that's what we got from or tech
John: yes, i understand, but that does not solve our problem
John: they can say that it works all they want, but it doesn't work.
John: Seriously, log in and chat on a table...ask the players on that table if they are able to enter a decimal amount in the bet box without using the bet slider.
Ray Simmons: ill put the ticket again for you
John: You will discover that NOBODY is able
John: so they can once again tell me i'm an idiot?
Ray Simmons: i send it again
John: ok, i will expect the exact same reply from them tomorrow
John: when can i get a different reply?
John: HOW can i get a different reply?
Ray Simmons: check tomorrow
John: ok thank you, have a good night (or day? lol) |

| Yeah, that problem only started with the latest software update (I played there before it happened). Such a joke. That whole site is so horrific, if the player pool wasn't so horrendous, there would be absolutely no reason to play there ever. |

Hmmm...I spoke with more players today who said that it worked until the last update, at which point it broke.
Is that screenshot from one of your strategy videos? I'll need to try out that move when I get the decimals working. |

Just to clarify, I've spoken with customer support over a dozen times, and they are helpful and very accessible.
They just don't really know the workings of the poker room so well sometimes.
They are always very courteous and usually answer my questions well. This is a problem with tech support, not customer service.
All of the others I've chatted with have had excellent English. This guy was fine with me, though. |

Proof that YOU can
I couldn't when I was still playing there after the update. Some people can, a lot can't. Must be an operating system issue or something. Which one you use? I'm on Windows 7 |
