I believe it is just a website Broker did, cos he follows Tom's progress, I may be wrong, but I am sure that is correct. _________________ "Cos that's what I do" |

haha . Never noticed that before tbh... I found tagpoker through searching google about heads up strategies etc. I first came across that riskoriented guy and then it was tagpoker.
Now I look back and the riskoriented stuff seems pretty bad imo (with his "better than Nash" charts). |

lol wow he's added more material now. It used to be all about husngs.
When I started poker, I was very mathematical in my approach and had already learnt about Nash jam/fold and under 20bb 3bet shove ranges in MTTs etc etc. At that time, the naiive me felt 25bb husngs should have been solved, and although I failed to solve it myself (lol), I was searching online- and came across that guy.
I remember he advocated something like minraising 100% from the button, and 3bet shoving 50% from the bb vs someone who minraises 100% to counter his brilliant button opening strategy (and he said no one was good enough to open 100% of buttons so you would gain with this strategy etc etc)... I already felt at the time that this was pretty bad and didn't browse much of the site after that. He also had charts for better than Nash (just open jam, no limp/minraise range) at under 12bb to exploit tighter population calling ranges which was deffo suboptimal vs almost all villains. |
