i have to admt that i havent read everuthing but this is how i look on playing draws:
i dont remember who said that (i think it was a pro) but he said that when you have a skill advantage on your opponent you should be inclined to keep the match going.
so unless you are playing a winning reg why try and finish the match so early when you can just take your odds and just call. if you missed then you missed. next time you wont miss and you stack him off because you are better than him.
i am almost certain that the difference in EV of calling with a draw vs. raising or shoving is not that big when playing bad players who will not fold too often.
so why not just call? you will encounter a lot of other spots to win your opponent because you are better |

Depends so much on your opponent, game flow, effective stack sizes, and more.
Fold equity is such a big part of it. If you have none, then raising is probably not a great idea, but it's rare you have none. Depends on board texture too, obv there is a flush draw, but there are many other considerations to be taken into account. _________________ "Cos that's what I do" |
