vegas update

well, finally arrived today... been up since 4am... got onto the poker table at the MGM Grand at 7pm.... played for 2.5 hours (had to leave, major tired, drinking on the plane and whatnot)
$1/$2 blinds.
anyways, I played a solid TAG game against a bunch of LAGS....

bought in for $200, left with $600 w00t! w00t! $160 PER hour... I like it!!
I'll be up at 5am and heading back to the poker room to clean up on the drunks.

Hey guys!
well I got up a little late this morning and was in the poker seat by 6:30am. OHHH FFS... I forgot to eat my zantac (heartburn stuff for those that dont know, I suffer from it big time)... anyway... by 7:30am I was up $415 w00t!w00t!. I freaking love vegas... it's now 7:50am and we are going out for breakfast. .. do a little sight seeing and be back at the tables prolly by 5pm when everyone is drinking again.

currently played 3.5 of poker with $815 profit. = $232.85 per hour. Trips is currently paid for!! w00t! w00t!

holy s hit I am stuffed, we went to the RIO for the seafood buffet!!! OMG!! this is truly awesome! America's gluttony at it's best!... I am so stuffed with king crab, lobster, prime rib, oysters all done many different ways. The desserts amazing!... 5 beer for $5....... I finished eating 4 hours ago and I can still barely move. I will be going to that place everytime I visit Vegas for sure.
So, after dinner we hit the poker room at the RIO, not so good today. Today was a day of set over set and rivers. however, grinded back and am only down about a $100. I not sure how long I played... so I've lost track of the money per hour. Tomorrow morning I head back to the MGM Grand and take on the drunks! :~)
oh, it's well over a hundred degrees here... I was'nt expecting that in late september... did'nt even bring freaking shorts!!!.... however the casino's are so cold you need a jacket, so it's kinda a shock everytime you step outside...
we are off to Freemont street tomorrow and hitting the golden nugget poker room!
we are having a blast!

Loving this thread, as i plan to go to Vegas around this time next year.

I am amazed at how much the casino's "throw" at people to play there. Comp drinks, upgrade to rooms etc. is just amazing, not to mention the famous $20 trick ?!?

We have one casino (which is probably the reason), and you would barely get a comp $20 token for joining their VIP club.

Look forward to your spoils, and run-ins with the drunks on your trip mate. Keep us posted, no matter how insignificant it sounds.

ok, woke up this morning still full and gut aching a little... Off to the MGM Grand again.. It's the closest casino to me as we are just off the strip at the bluegreen resorts. I get there at about 5am... sit down and allready can tell ... 3 drunks and one is a real ignorant douchebag.. the type of guy you would kick the shit out of for fun and everyone would cheer you on... HARDER!! MORE!!... IN THE NUTS!!... I had the pleasure of sitting beside this clown. Anyway, this Dbag had no Idea how to play, it was absolutely painful to watch, however... he was raising pots with J9cc with no clubs or jack or nines... just random raises...GOLD BABY GOLD!! He's now BB i'm UTG... he's trying to raise it to $25 preflop, dealers trying to push it back, he keeps pushing and making stupid comments... I look down at 44... cool, I limp, few more limpers... DBag finally makes it $25 I call everyone else folds. flop 4h 9d qs. I check, Dbag bets $40... I shove.. he insta calls and shows ks 2s... yeah! turn a spade river a spade!!!.. WTF??? noooo!
rebuy.... dealt 10 10... flop 3 8 2 I bet out pre and on the flop with one caller. turn comes down a jack... over $100 in the pot... I bet like $65... he goes allin... this is drunk no.2 btw... I threw my last $75 in there or so.... he flips up 3 k os... wtf?... yah baby!..... river,,,, a fing 3.... FFS!!!

rebuy... again for another $200.... lose the first hundered, I dont even remember how... was kinda tilting.... ... so now I'm down $500... I go to the can and release some king crabs... ugh.

I get back to the table and things started turning my way... ended up making everything back except $65, before I had to head back and go to breakfast with the wife and friends

man... there was some crazy, crazy australians playing on the tables too... fun guys, but crazy... one of them lost $1100 in 2 hands ... and not good hands either. bear in mind these are only $1/$2 ring games and alot of these pots were $1500 - $2000 by the river.... maximum buy in is $300... this is why I like going this early in the morning.... the more money they made all night, the drunker they get... the more invincible they feel..... plus, I drink at night, not in the morning. lol

anyway... off to breakfast!
