I just recieved an e-mail from ptr and again it seems they have found a vulnerability in another network allowing 3rd parties to see your hole cards
and more. I'm not an expert on any of this and can't even understand if it is easy for a pc wiz to do or not, so here's the link.
You might want to take a look if you play on the cake network.

Thanks for alarting us to this Shafta!

This is a big problem to anyone playing on the cake network. I would say that everyone should go read the article but if your not a computer geek alot of what is said will go over your head so i'll do a quick cut down version.

The breach in sercurity comes from the way that the cake network encrypts data, they are effectivly using a redunte system to encrypt hole cards and login details.

The main people at risk is anyone using a wirless network (recardless if its encryptex or not as now a days its very easy to hack a wireless network) as anyone who breks into your network can sit and take your login details and accses your account whenether they want! If you using a wired connection this risk is less but not removed because any computer server that routes your connection will In theroy be able to collect the same infomation!

Because of this IMO i would recomend that anyone using the cake network logins in changes there password and then refains from using the cake network till the problem is resolved (which will be about a week as this is how long it took UB to remove a similiar vunrability)

PTR has yet to say that the flaw has been patched therefore this is still an active problem for people on the cake network!
