Zipps No.22012 - Time to get back to my roots. HU Sngs is the only poker game I enjoy and were I am comfortably making decisions. I basically wasted the last 1/4 year atBetonline. Sure I won overall a little over $1.5k, but I improved not at all. My HU Sng game is the same 1/4 year ago, its even worse. The first time I played again I forgot everything. Simple stuff like when to bet and my endgame was just a joke.I couldn't even fold a hand. I knew I was behind his range, but I couldn't fold. I played really emotional, but after a few games and going over my notes my rational game is back and I am really having fun. Seriously the last 1/4 year I played 6max just to win money. My goal was to win a lot of money and switch back to HU Sngs, but I was really bored playing 6max. So I cashed out ~750 to my bank account and deposit 400 at pokerstars.fr, where I am now playing the 10 Turbos with a 491 bankroll and I will move up to the 20s at 600. It really feels good playing HU Sngs again!

Ok I reinstalled HEM, so this is a new graph, but things are going still fine. I experimented a bit with wider calling ranges out of position at lowstakes, but I still prefer to play sth. like 35%. Maybe its necessary to play a wider range vs. better players, in order to gain every little +ev spot. But I don't care at the moment. I am playing that which works for me vs. the average stars.fr fish.

Thx mate. A mixture of 5 and 10 games, but I really should play higher. At Betonline I didn't cared when I tried a $100 shot, but when it comes to husngs and games I am way too careful.
I need to activate the degen in me Btw it's always nice to play versus other good players in order to learn something, so we could definitively play a few games.

Hi guys. I had a little over 1k only at stars.fr and I cashed out 400. My br is now 609 and my plan is to run it up to 2k within 2 months.
Should be easy doable if I stick to my plan and don't play all kind of stuff (hypers, plo bla), like in the past. Btw this time I won't be a pussy and grind some higher stakes. So here we go!

Yo today I played $82 and the $7 Scoop Hu Events. I busted in the 2. round of the $7 and in the 1. round in the $82.
The $82 guy played really solid. He opened almost 100% of his Buttons, but foldet to 3Bets a lot like 89% and didn't adjusted. I 3bet him a little over 20%, but I think I should have 3Bet him more. In hindsight it would have been profitable to 3Bet any2cards versus him, till he may adjusts. Nevertheless, the funny thing was, that we played 55 minutes
I never played a hu sng match for that long. The end were just 2 normal hands, were both of us played fine. I open shoved 55, when he had 14bb, he rightfully called with his A8 and won the flip. A few hands later I made a non ai 3Bet with TT and he 4bet shoved with AQ and won the match. I still had fun and now back to the france guys. |
