Who has done the $50-$5000 challenge?Hi guys. Still fairly new round here and was wondering who else had done the above exactly? Or who has done the $50-$500?How many games did it take you? Thoughts/experiences? Thanks |

Wow, congrats mate. Not just for accomplishing it, but more so for accomplishing it after struggling for a while. I think that shows what you are made of!! Looks like you really nailed it in the end.
I amy well ask you for advice - I have just completed lesson one, so very early days for me. But good to see that once you wre on a roll, to $500 only took you 350-400 games or so. Cheers |

Ahhhh.
It took >1000 maybe 1300 games in total with a very careful BR management! z1s6arn FT.com 650 ish z1s6arn FT.fr some more Adapt n evolve on FT 350 ish games(new account after going to France) this account is where things started to click and I moved to deepstacks to compensate for lack of experience. z1 It can be done quicker and it can be done more slowly....but just so you know it can be done! |

I had a $500 profit in about 1000 games playing the micros on FT after rakeback. It looks like it was about 13 straight days in terms of hours!! I withdrew a few times to fix the car etc so started from scratch more than once. I didn't mind playing them as I was still learning and there were more than a few times, on the bad days, when I quit, never to play again thinking it was all random bullshit but came back to give it one more go. Next thing I knew I'd played 1000 games and felt a lot more confident. I've moved over to Stars this week to chase a bonus so hopefully I'll climb a few levels before all the bonus releases. 
The ITM% is lower then normal for the ROI because 200 of the games were 4 man shootouts.

I went from $50 free BR to around $3k.
I was mostly playing other SNGs though (STT at first then 90 mans) First month profit: $10,50 2nd month profit: $31,55 3rd month profit: $1411,51 Thank you HEM. Then I took a big $600 hit, started working my way up on cash games (because your always playing the wrong game when you hit a massive downswing). Went to $2k profit quite easily by working my way up to NL100. The rest is from RB/Bonus (hey, that counts!). You can't really say anything about it because it's so dependent on how you run. My profit was so bad in the first 2 months because I was running horrid (I nearly blew my $50, had like $20 at a certain point). Then in the 3rd month I had a "OMFG WTF ARE U SRS?!" upswing and quickly went from $2 STTs to $6,60 90 mans. And the last 6 months my BR hasn't budged more then $500 up and down. Runbadz really paralyze the income and upswings make you move up so fast you think your the next coming of Chris Fergu...ehh...I mean Brokerstar. Of course. |
