What music do you listen to while you play?Thought it might be a fun topic to discuss.
I listen to all sorts of random stuff while I play, at the moment lana del ray's album is playing as I find it quite relaxing which can only help.
I used to listen to a lot of pendulum as I played but I found with the speed of the music I sped up the speed of my moves and didn't give them enough thought, so something a little slower seems to be working better for me
So, what'd you guys listen to? Any particularly favourite tunes? E.g. the ace of spades coming on the second you're dealt aces would feel pretty epic.

I stopped listening to music because I find I start 'listening to music' instead of concentrating on my pokerz

I started listening to music whilst playing poker like I used to, it helps.
I've picked the most chilled background music type tracks from two 14 Tracks compilations (dark ambient & in the shadow of film noir) and stuff from Boards of Canada and Photek's first albums... still some way to go with the track selection though, basically it's anything that isn't too intrusive and slows me down so I'm still weeding the harsher tracks.
This track's in there too:

And The Angler, LOL at Venetian Snares, although given your av I thought this'd be more your bag:

I find the same but not if it's repetitive electronica/techno/house stuff like Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, etc. Those become pleasant background noise that you tend not to focus on after it repeats the beat and one-liner lyrics a couple times

I listen to jango.com. My radio station has over 400 artists selected, and it plays a ton of "related" artists as well.
I like variety and don't even mind some hard rap or twangy country I've never heard before.
I have my favorite artists, mainly alternative rock nowadays, but generally would rather not listen to the same song more than once in a week.
I have a huge mp3 collection...most of the charted hits from 1890 to the present that I've tried to "organize" in the past using itunes. It takes some time, though. I rate each song on how long of a minimum gap before replaying again. This time could be three days to three months to three years, with most falling around nine months. itunes has a pretty nice programming method to achieve this.

That Chopin is fantastic, I can see myself borrowing that for the playlist
In fact I have a few classical CDs knocking about, maybe it's time to rip and see how I get on...

LOL, yeah, I can listen to it while playing poker. Never heard that song before. I don't know my country music and some of the songs get pretty twangy. Fortunately, there's not much country on my station. I definitely couldn't listen to it often. I do like pop country artists like Ronnie Milsap and Kenny Rogers, though.

If anyone uses Spotify, I've got a playlist that's full of a weird array of music that I use for poker. Some is mellow, some is heavy, mainly lounge music.
