useful software

Hey guys I've just found this (short stacking strategy calculator), dunno if many of you have it already:

http://nyjet_twoplustwo.home.mindspring.com/

Basically it does the calculations for typical situations arising in endgames when you can play jam/fold with certain hands which play bad (e.g. Ax). You can adjust all of the relevant info- and I've just realised from playing around with it that most people (e.g. me) are too tight in endgames. You'd have to call pretty wide (over 25% of hands) to a shove if you don't have a limping range to not be exploitable to wide shoving.

Basically you can do the calculations using pokerstove but this simplifies things for you. However the software is banned for online play (and it auto closes when I open fulltilt fwiw).

Finally, I'll advise against using its calculations in a 6max/9max SNG since it doesn't factor ICM into account plus the ranges it asigns those acting behind is probably not accurate (definitely not at lower stakes).

Hope this post was useful!

Obviously for HU, you can select the BB vs SB as postflop position is irrelevant if you are jam/folding.
