Brokerstar's Low - Mid Stake HUSNG Training

About Me

Hi my name is Brokerstar and I'm a specialist in playing and teaching people how to play small to mid stakes, reg speed, HUSNG's. I own and run a HUSNG training site.  I've taught over a hundred students in the last year and have never had a single complaint about the coaching that I have given. Many of my students started out in the $1 or $2 games and now play between the $50 - $200 games.

I took a short break from advertising my coaching on 2+2 as I wanted to work on a few other poker projects. Now they are finished it's back to what I do best, teaching others to beat this format of the game.

Most of my poker playing has been spent as a prop player, hopping around lots of small euro sites. Here I mainly played full ring and 6 max cash but was not allowed to play HU cash. After a couple of years playing we were allowed to start playing HU only in tournament format which is how I got involved in HUSNG's. I really enjoyed this format of the game and for the low to mid stakes have to say that it's by far the easiest, lowest form of variance poker I have ever played (reg speed or deep stack games that is).
I don't have stats from my propping sites but I did recently do a bankroll challenge for a video series where I rolled $50 into $5000, starting at the micro games ($2 games). I follwed good bankroll management and completed the challenge in under 1000 matches with over a 20% ROI and have since taught lots of people to do the very same thing. I made this video series playing as Paris_tillton on Full Tilt and below are the results of said challenge.



Coaching Options

I have developed several coaching packages to try and enable people of all skill levels and budgets to get direct help with their game. I firmly believe that the biggest mistakes that most 'up and coming' players have in this format is the fact that they work very hard on developing 'their game'. What I mean by that is they develop a kind of one size fits all strategy and will play many similar situations in exactly the same way.

I feel that there is a large group of players that in their mind are working on improving. They are posting hands, watching training videos, reading books and making steady but very slow improvements. A lot of these players fall into what I call a midddle category, they are certainly not fish but are by no means crushing.
I see lots of players that are either slight losers, breakeven or very marginal winners and they all often fit into that category of players that have a kind of one size fits all strategy and the only difference from the slight winners to the slight losers is the fact that they have a marginally better game plan over all.

This is where I come in. I teach my students how to spot what kind of player they are facing and then give them the tools to totally take them apart. Being able to adjust to each opponet you face as well as you can will make all the difference between crushing and scraping by.

Depending where you are in your poker career and what kind of volume you play, I have put a few different packages together below to help you decide what's optimal for you.

Paid Coaching Options

I have three courses all designed to help new players start beating these games as soon as possible. Each course will give the student a solid foundation to play these games well. The difference in each option is not in the content of strategy material but how much one to one time they get with me to help speed up their understanding of what's covered.

Option One $300 (Deluxe Course)

This is a four hour intensive course that will be conducted over Skype. Each lesson is broken down into one  hour slots. Most of the students that have posted in my thread have taken advantage of the paid option so you can gauge an idea of how successful clients of mine have been following only four short hours of work.

We will cover strategy vs the differing player types that you will often face and how to adjust to each of them. You learn this in all of the courses with the help of the study material but many people find it beneficial to have to talk them through all the strategy so I can immediately answer your questions rather than just watching the power point videos alone.

Following the live training you will be given lots of study/ revision material (Power point training videos) to help reinforce the lessons that you have learnt.

We will finish off your training by reviewing some of the tougher matches that you had and I will also turn this into a video for you to keep so that you can study it over and over until it sticks.

You will also have access to me over Skype for a month after the training so that I can help with anything else that you happen to be struggling with.

Plus you get access to all of the latest Free Tagpoker Training Videos which are now placed in the Tagpoker forums.

Option Two $200

In this course you will get all of the study material (power point training videos) from the first option. I will be on Skype to answer any questions that you have about what you have been learning. You will then get 4 game reviews where you'll send me matches that you found hard and I will turn the HH files into leakfinder videos to send back to you again so you can study them as much as you need to. I will also be on Skype for two weeks after your final video to help with any sticking points that you are having. This option has been proving very popular recently with my new students.


Option Three $95 (Condensed Course)

This is for those students on a budget. In this course you will still get all of the training videos to study and I will answer any questions that you have over skype. You can then select a couple of games that you found hard and I will put together one leakfinder/ game review video and send it back to you. We can also answer any questions you have after you have watched your leakfinder video.

Many students on a tight budget have used this option to start beating the games and then have go on to buy leakfinder videos from the profits that they have been making.


Individual leakfinder/ game review videos $50

Lots of students ask me to make them game review videos and I'll happily do this. I have an offer running where if a student is happy to have their footage shared on the Tagpoker forums then I'll make two videos for $80 so a nice 20% saving.


Profit Share Coaching

This option is ONLY available to former students that have really done well after one of the courses and then go on to play high volume at reasonable stakes.

I do not take on people that I have never worked with or micro players but many of my students crush the low stakes after the courses and want help moving up to the higher stake games and this is for them.

Free  Coaching Options

This option is for students that are not capable of beating the low stakes games yet. There is no point sending me a message asking for a profit share coaching deal if you can't at least breakeven or better in the low stakes. However if you are wanting to drastically improve your game but don't have the budget to pay $200 then this option is certainly for you.
