TMLE09 BR challenge: $800 to $5000

I want to make this thread to record my journey in husng. My goal is to some day be a $100 reg. i will probably reach this level when my bankroll is at 5k. I have been playing poker for almost 9 months now. I got around 1200 games under my belt. At the moment, i have been playing the $11.50 turbo on fulltilt. Currently, my bankroll is at $800ish, which gives me about 35 buy-ins for the $23 level. I will start at this level now and give myself 5 shots at this level, and rebuild at the $11.5 if my roll is under $700. My shots at the $20 in the past did not go too well. My roi is -20% -___-, lets hope i run better this time around

I am currently in school right now so i will probably not play ridiculous volume by any means. I will probably looking at around 40-50 games a week. I will try to update this weekly.

Here's where my BR is at now:

This is my lifetime SS stats:

This is my lifetime SS graph:

As you can see, i have been playing really well my last 700 games, i hope to keep this up and avoid major downswings. I just gotta my A game every time i play poker and just let the cards run.

Finally, i just wanted to say thank you to this forum, i haven't been very active much but i do lurk around and read a lot on here. I learned and developed my game greatly thanks to this forum. Broker, i really appreciate all the free videos, and they have really strength my game a lot. Thank you. Cheers! Very Happy

Nice work,

In your SS graph, what do you think you changed about your game or what if any adjustments did you make to end the downswing ? or do you attribute that to natural variance and your focus turned it around?

I remember trying to break over the 1k mark for the first time, it seemed to take forever and a day  Very Happy

the epic downswing was because i was running really bad, tilting and playing really poor poker. I took about 3 months off and just not thinking about poker at all. I came back with a new focus and slowly got my roll from 100 to now since November by playing fundamentally sound poker

btw thanks everyone, hoping to hit 1k but the end of this week if i get enough games in

Yet to pass 2k yet. Won't be majorly long though tbf as soon as i get used to Stars and can start playing those.

It could well take 3 weeks, depends on how sick you run. Could take 3 weeks could take 3 hours, just gotta keep plugging it.
