Tight Passive 3 bet shove

What's reasonable to call a 3bet shove from a tight passive player? I was just playing a game vs a TP got jammed on towards the latter stages of the game ~30bb(25/50) the shove was over a min raise and I called it off with QQ. Would post the exact hand I'm talking about but my HEM is down Sad

If we give him a range of TT+,AK  we have ~53% equity is that a realistic range though?
If we narrow his range to JJ+,AK we have ~47% equity

Should I ever be min bet folding QQ?

I'd rather give up on life, than fold QQ there  Very Happy

forced

yeah... putting him on a range does'nt matter to me there.... shoving back all day long.

Could you guys fold 10,10 for instance? isn't it very unlikely he's got kk or aa because it's so rare for both players to have either aa,kk or qq at the same time?

Here's the hand I was talking about. In this spot I defiantly would have folded TT vs this guy.

NL Hold'em Tournament, 25/50 Blinds, 2 Players

BB: 1,150
Hero (BTN): 1,850

Pre-Flop: (75) Q Q dealt to Hero (BTN)
Hero raises to 100, BB raises to 1,150 and is All-In, Hero calls 1,050

Flop: (2,300) A 2 3 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Turn: (2,300) 4 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: (2,300) 4 (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: 2,300 Pot
BB showed K A and WON 2,300 (+1,200 NET)
Hero showed Q Q and LOST (-1,125 NET)

So to call there we need better than 46% equity (46% being our pot odds) To make a call with TT he needs to be shoving 99+,AQs+,KQs,AQo+,KQo if you punch the numbers into pokerstove you're 46.59% vs that range with TT

hmm 23bb effective stacks...

I would need some serious strong reads to fold TT+ here...

I mean even the off chance that the tight passive player decides to shove wider, or that he has been very card dead might make it +EV for you to call.

I don't think you can ever assign a players shoving range to 1010+ AK when the blinds get higher. You will see them show up with AJ and worse, and pocket 77s + loads of the time, even if they are tight passive.

I might fold 55 there, but I wouldn't seriously consider folding TT.

lol @ folding QQ and TT

stop being so nitty
The Angler

You wouldn't fold TT there to a guy that hasn't 3bet you once in 3 games and doesn't seem tilted?
tmle09

at like 20-25bb eff. stacks, ppl just shove really wide, usually a lot of Axs and smaller PPs
