Think I've discovered how to cure tilt! Part 1 (Bankroll)Now the throws of the cash school are running I am mainly leaving it to Alex now and just recruiting some more students. Now with my spare time I'm turning my focus back to my HUSNG students on the forum and doing a new series to conquer the $20's and $30's with a mix of live videos and classroom work.
One thing I've realised is that when you're really over rolled you don't much mind losing when you get it in good and have played well.
So for those of you looking to cure tilt, just build a 100 buy in roll, simples.
If you don't believe me then if you're playing $10 games then drop down to the $1 games and see how much better you deal with running bad.

To be honest, it's something I have always followed, very nitty bankroll management. I don't think I have ever had 100 buy ins, but very close to it, and usually over 50.
If you are playing with 30 buyins or less, you really do have to move down sharpish when things start going wrong. I think the 30 buy in rule is okay when you are trying to climb the stakes, it allows you to move up and down as needed, but if you get to a stake you are happy to stick at, you should really be looking at 100 anyway.

I'd also like to agree with you. I have a ~170$ bankroll at the moment and playing 5$ HUSNG's. It's really hard on me when I lose more than three BI's in the row and starting to feel frustrated instantly. I think it's a good idea to move down the limits whenever you don't feel very comfortable in the games you play, you'll still get there
But I also find another interesting psychological boundarie: When you move down the limits, at first you ussually start underestimating your oponents, and it's pretty hard not to do so (been there). Be aware of this, don't you ever underestimate the guy in front of you!
