First round,
Kierkegaard must have had an off day, and went out. Shows that even the best can be beaten Broker, though drunk, managed to pull out a win. He suggested that next month we play on wednesday morning 9am since that would be about the only time he would not be drunk. I figure that will make him even more unbeatable, so we better not do that. And where is the justice... BetMagicMoney was a noshow the first 9 minutes and Alejandross desided to wait... and was not rewarded for it in the beginning and down to little over 300 chips. Then however his luck changed, he won a few flips in a row and now BMG was down to 800 chips. From then on it went down hill and Alejandross finaly won the match.
weegem, snakeejake, howboshe, corbishley and betmagicmoney all did not make it to the 2nd round.
Second round, Lozza72 did a quicky against JayOh1981, again Broker won... he must have some special deal with pokerstars because he also has qualified for bronze star I noticed !! Great achiefment. After getting a walk in the first round I finaly played a match against camshafta and I won. (very taggy match.... we hardly seen a flop....) and last stake chips was felted.
Semi final, HUSNGDude v Nachtwacht and Broker v supersuperhumid
I unfortunatly failed again to reach the final. Dude 4bet me twice in 2 hands, I had the idea that he was doing it light since it was two times in a row, shoved my AT but he was not doing it so light, his TT held up and cripled me and I finaly lost. Bad read, well played by Lozza and it shows that patience pays off against an idiot like me
Broker, the coach that he is, appeared to be playing both hands. Giving advice during the match. It did not help and broker went to play the final.... again.....
husngdude v brokerstar
Both shared some info in the chat about their drinks off the night. Broker won that battle wit 4 pints and a bottle of wine against husngdude's just 1 bottle of wine. The dude "smoked" more than broker though so it was 1-1. Broker then started out by cursing husngdude.. they had great impressions of one other and call downs with J high seemed to set the standard. Broker again did the coaching tilt. Telling husngdude that his 3bet sizing was off and all sorts of other advice. On a flop of 555 there was a show of balls with a lead, a raise and a shove... the shove was with K7 and broker had an "easy" call with QQ and husngdude failed to improve his 4outer. With 1500 chips left against brokers 22500 husngdude had an uneven match with blinds of 120/240 (and after a few hands 200/400) but managed to crawl back up to even by taking down a lot of small pots and getting it in ahead three times and winning! Then on a board of K6J all diamonds husngdude got it in with top pair and broker with the nut flush draw. Turn was another diamond and brokerstar is again the Tagpoker HU Shootout champion of the month ! Looking forward to hearing him brag.... not

You my man do a first class job of not only organising this but giving a great running commentary to make it all that much more memorable and enjoyable for all.
A huge thanks for taking the time to do this I had a lot of fun as always and can't wait for the next one.
Oh and the last hand I had the nut flush draw, an over and a gut shot so was a super easy shove. Making me sound like a donkey with a flush draw.. lol 
I tried to help my opponents where I could. I may make some videos of my matches with more feedback if you guys would be interested in seeing that kind of footage?

Awesome commentary natch 
..most of the time i play as "$ucky$ucker" on stars...but i was round a mates house this time...smoking and drinking(well it is a sunday) and asked a visting Aussie chick "lozza" if i could use her A/C to play as i haven't missed a tag event that has been held on pokerstars yet..... so i ended up with a few pp watching the screen on certain big hands/pots ...so was great to reach the final table with a small crowd of supporters....i think broker may have convinced them to join in next month.......at first they thought broker was being a twat for making comments on my hands....but when i explained that broker was just pointing out my weaknesses they where like "cool man....what a chilled dude"...
Anywhey....So as per usual just pm if u want the HH if i played you or you want my comments on how you played.....
Might not be a good idea because im very stoned and now on Southern Comfort...but maybe you should make this monthly shootout thing into a league fomart,so people may keep coming back each month...

If people would rather I keep my opinions to myself on leaks that I see at the table then do let me know. I'm not trying to come across as arrogant with my remarks but see how it could look.
I'm really just trying to give people that play me a chance to get a little something extra out of the experience that may help them in future matches.

Hey dude...keep doing it...its a great incentive for pp to play the monthly tag....
The only reason my drunken/stoned dudes called u a twat was because they thought u were taking the piss...once i explained why u were doing this .......they were like.......wow what a cool dude...
Please keep doing....and please skype or post on here your thoughts on my 3bet sizes you noticed...as i know this is a big weakness of mine and i will listen to yr thoughts as will other on here....

Ok no worries.
With regards to 3 bets it was more a case of me saying when you're deep and out of position that you shoudn't min 3 bet me or close to it as you give me 3:1 pot odds and I get to play in position which will make life hard for you a lot of the time as the guy found out in the match before you.
If you're 3 betting as a bluff or for value at this stage you want to make the bet big to discourage a call or compensate for your post flop disadvantage. So I normally 3 - 4 x it in a lot of cases.
The only times I make small 3 bets are if I'm either playing a really bad TAG player that folds to these small raises (i.e that's a leak of his for ignoring pot odds) or when the effective stacks are short and the min 3 bet or just over can commit my opponent a lot on the flop to go with a decent amount of hands.

I have to say thanks to Alejandross for waiting for me (in future dude just blind me out ) as my internet has been very bad tonight!
As to the match, i run very bad as of the 5 flips in the match 4 of them im ahead and Alejandross wins 4 and draws to a chop in the other...... pretty much how i run in genral, lol! Would be nice to get past the first round in one of these shootouts I guess there is always the next one

Definetly keep doing it ! As a watcher it makes it a lot more fun and gives us a lot to think about. If anyone thinks its arrogance, thats their loss.
