5 minute blind intervals (faster than usual)

Again the shootout will be organized in the home game section of pokerstars. Therefore you need to register to the Tagpoker club on Pokerstars if you have not done so allready. After that you can just register for the monthly shootout as normal.

Instructions on how to register for the Tagpoker club:

- If you don't already have it, download the free PokerStars software from www.pokerstars.com
- Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab
- Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button
- Enter my Club ID number: 45548
- Enter my Invitation Code: tagforum

What is wrong with the format ?

(I know only 5 people registered but that has nothing to do with the format)

Asking because I slightly changed the speed so curious what might be wrong, if anything, with the format.

Well, atleast it was a fast format this month. It only took 38 minutes from start to finish and the first match took about 20 minutes of that so it was definatly a lot faster than normal.

Ofcourse, also the fact that only 5 people registered did not help. Unfortunat that it were so little participants. I am atleast partialy to blame for that, normaly I notify Broker that he has to send a message out to all the people that we are having the shootout. I was unfortunatly a little busy and forgot so that did not help....

Midmonth will be the 20th, lets hope we will get a little more players and hopefully also a little more chat because there was not chatting it all and we are playing because we are a group of people knowing eachother... and it would be nice to have some interaction going.

pokerstars sends out notification so ev eryone was informed

i honestly think the time was bad
as all the Sunday majors are on at this time

saturday would be better and of course the early start for me was not good
I am happy for 7am to 9pm aussie time most days of the week
hopefully I can make the next one

We discussed that several times, but since any normal UK time by definition is bad for aussies, and most members on tagpoker are from the UK, we settled for a UK time that would be nice.

But you are absolutely right... about 60 people that allready signed up to the group got the message so they knew the tournament was comming.....

Just a bad turnup then. Normaly about 15 people join so lets hope next month will be better again. It will be at the same time though so not sure if you can make it Smile

because daylight saving has changed it has made it a bit early for me
Also on this time area i usually like to play tournaments it is my tournament day
I normally play between 8 and 10 tournaments
so we will just have to see
maybe some other aussies will weigh in and you can move it to Saturday and a more suitable time for Aussies

na just the pay stucture i didnt like. but the 5 mins lvl are great well better then before.i think it should be made very top heavy pay out
