Strange PlayThis was a strange one. The guy had been really tight throughout and other games where we played, and then he does this.

I guess he didn't (no joke) know the rules of hand rankings.

I didn't raise the turn, he did. Maybe he thought his J was good because I didn't raise pre-flop?
It did seem strange because he was so tight in this game and the other games I played him.

So what should I have done in that position? I thought I couldn't lose at that point? At worst it would have been a chop if he had held an A? Or am I talking out my ass? Which I probably am.

I was just pointing out you did raise the turn
You can't lose, but he could possibly fold to your shove (it does happen) where as has a chance to spazz the river if you just flat.

Oh ok, I got you...thanks. So I should have just called and hoped he bet more on the turn. Thanks

I didn't know this though..

if villain is putting 700 into 100 i doubt he is folding to a raise. Well played.
