lol oddly enough i was gonna post a similar topic. I bought silver certificates back when it was around $17US/oz , sold it at around $32 so made a nice little profit. Might get back into it if prices drop a bit. I'm interested in advice too nachtwacht

Depends on what you do...
It took me about 15 years to learn a lot about it and find a way of trading that fits my personality. Now it requires less than 1 hour a day to follow that strategy wich is a strategy that trades every day, but only 1 time a day. I have friends however that trade maybe 100 times a day. For them its a lot harder work (But usualy also a higher reward) So as in poker.... it depends
