Slow playing bottom set got me in trouble again. My shove on river has to be awful but, not sure would have mattered. Played guy again and he was station so would have called all three streets with pair. Any improvements to what I should have done?

i think your raise on the turn should have been larger, around 850-900??

What kind of reads do you have and what was the gameflow like? if hes going to barrel 2 streets then flatting flop is fine , if you know he will fire once and give up then I raise the flop as he will only call with a hand anyway.
As played I would raise more on the turn. As I have said previously hard to tell without reads but raise pre or fold to the 5x if your going to limp, hes going to cbet any board and your most than likely going to be facing 3 over cards and / or draws

My read was he was a donk and would call with anything but fold his outright bluffs. I probably shouldn't have even really posted it. It is too much of a cooler. Still, should I have shoved river?

I think as played river shove is fine, I think if hes calling with his gutterball 78 2 streets (highly unlikely) then so be it. Hard to put him on backdoor flush and there are a ton of worse 2p hands here and sometimes even top pair.

Re: Slow playing bottom set got me in trouble again.i think that slow playing is really bad in this occasion... i would have raised the flop.. he could have a T and stack off right now but if overcards fall down wich is probable ure not extracting that much so i really dont like slow playing in this occasion... i slowplay only when i am unbeatable and i have flopped something that monopolizes the flop... for example a board of 224 and u have pocket 44 in this occasion i would slowplay but on that flop there are quite a lot of draws by raising u are getting value from them and i really didnt like ure play here the board isnt monopolized and u can extract value from a whole lot of hands... shoving the river is a pretty bad moove at this point... he leads out with a big bet so he is telling you basically that he has the nuts or air.. so flat call its a better moove plus flush and straight draws are closed now
