SlaveSystem's BR building thread

Hello, so this is my BR thread. Played cash in the past also 180's( not much sucess ened in gigantic downswings) from some time now i decided to play HU sng's but i struggled to put major volume into this. I watch Brokestar videos and i grasp the concepts pretty well, that's what i thought.

Generally i think the games are way tougher (yes 3.5$ on stars) than i thought so, not that much fishes, calling stations, passive players( heck i loose to them also) a lot of agressive guys, they have leaks that i can spot but there is not much you can do when you can't hit anything.

Goals

[]Play 500 games/month  (won't happen with that much volatility as you see in my graph.)
[]Stay focused
[]Study/Review my play (post hand, make videos)
[] run good

Here is my sexy graph:

Stay tuned for updates!Smile

Best of luck my man.

Try to see if the aggressive players that you are facing are genuine LAG's or perhaps tight/ aggressive.

Then make sure you adjust your game to whatever style you believe you come across.

Good luck.

Little update:

-  Volume still beyond any decency
- when i know im 99% beat (against straightforward players) but i got a decent hand i still struggle to fold sometimes.

+ much more calm during session ( or i should say micro session:( )
+ decent results

looking to raise the volume this month

Updated graph:

End of October update:

+ nice winrate, overall i feel pretty comfortable playing

- volume (ye again)

I played a little bit more than last month but i still struggle to put major volume ( especially longer sessions i sometimes play shorter than 1 hour sessions lol ), and i want to live off this (hehe).
I give myself 2 more months to get to 400-500 husng volume if i wont do that than i would have to quit dreaming:/

October graph, 20% roi:):

Overall graph, 12.4% roi:

November Goals

- min 350 games
- 10% roi
- study, post hands

Overall i want to focus on volume and not pay too much attention to winrate.

TBH, you don't want your sessions going any more than 1-2 hours, you need to schedule in more sessions though, with breaks.

Another graph heading in the right direction!!

Agree, 1 and a half hours - 2hours is good for a session. Break after that, even if it's only for 15 minutes, to refresh.

Thx Broker:)

That was exactly what i was planning, 2hours - break 2hours - break 2hours- break, but i need to do it in one continous session because when take longer break than 10-15min than i usually get distracted and likely that is the end of playing for the day. I guess i have to deal with this on my own, start treating it like a job (which is the thing i wanted to avoid - JOB, oh well:P)

One more thing i noticed is it is better when i start playing pretty quickly after i wake up so i won't get distracted (i don't play in the evening im just sleepy therefore i can't trust myself to play my A game).

Well my advice (and Jakester) is based on what works for me. People are different, if that's how it works for you, it's best to do what you feel is best. Long continous sessions just don't work for me, and playing as soon as I get up is impossible having a 1 year old baby  Very Happy

THREAD RESTART

So after over half year of "not feeling like playing", procrastinating and lets be honest just being afraid that i won't be able to beat even the lowest stakes im restarting this thread.

I feel like i am ready to put a decent monthly volume now, starting from 2h and building gradually to 5h of husng per day.
I wasted half a year that's bad (not the first time heh) but im looking forward to learn and hopefully move up the stakes:).

Playing 1.5$ atm, BR at 182$ looking to take 3BI shot at 3.5$ when i reach 195$, yeah i know im a BR nit:)

My graph since i started playing again:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Struggling a bit but i think it will get better cause as you can see above i was beating 3.5$.

Will post June goals at the end of may.Thx guys:)
