ps statushow does the points work on stars? i mean i need to get a certain number of points b4 the end of january to became a silver star, if i do am i still a silver star next month? because it says i have all year to become a supernova so could i go staight from bronze to supernova hyperthetiacally speaking?

Yes you will be a silver star if you get the required points. 750 I think it is ? Next month you will be Silver, then you will need to get the points again next month to be silver the following month. If you get the required points for Goldstar 3000 I think, then you will be Gold the following month.
The Super Nova works differently, it is calculated over a year. You wouldn't get anywhere near it by just qualifying for gold or silver each month.
All the information can easily be found by clicking links on the poker stars software, in the cashier, and also at the top where it shows your status.

I made platinum star last month 20 tabling 25NL - this month i will be a silverstar with a sore finger
