PokerstoveHey guys. Saw in a post and a few people talking about pokerstove and how its such a useful tool to use during play. I'm still new to HUSNG and have no idea what it does and how to apply it to my game. Could anyone give a brief description about it and how to use it etc? (sorry if i'm asking too much)
Much appreciated thank you.

I'll try sum it up!
Basically you can stick in a hand Vs another hand and run the equaty between them then using that you can do EV calc (make sure you read red dogs EV shoving guide)
you can also run your hand Vs a range of hand villian could have - with differrent boards etc etc to work out equaitys when calling shoves.
Its kind of hard to explain it much past that (or at least i suck at explaining stuff ) i'd recommend you DL it and just play around with it and see what happens

Dont think I could have summarised it any better BMM!
The key uses I find for it are:
Running a marginal spot through it when doing a game review, to see if you really have taken a +EV line against a villains range
and also, playing around with it to really find out what the numbers are in various spots - 2 overcards vs pocket pair (preflop) 2overcards and flush draw against top pair, set vs flopped straight etc etc, finding out what numbers are on flop and turn

pokerstove is great. I tend to use it when i attempt to analyze certain situations. if you are smart enough and fast enough to figure out ranges and do all the clicking before time runs out, then more power to you. i personally cant because i'm not the smartest guy in the world. i mean i'm still counting on my fingers trying to figure out if villain could have a straight or not.
