ninjareads.... trust me, something's seriously f'ed up with that site.. lol.. can't wait till full tilt comes back... i'm just playin on william hill right now cause of how badly i'm struggling on PS when literally 2 weeks before, i was ripping through FT and went from 2$ games to 10$ games in less than 2 weeks by only playing about 3-5 games per day :\... i gave up on PS

So you went on a 70 game heater on FTP and so therefore any sites you lose on is because of the sites RNG?

Not 70 game heater, but pretty decent.. Just unbelievable how many times u can get it in on the flop with 2 pair+ and villain hits his 1 - 4 outers... Just a pattern I noticed from all the people complaining about stars ever since... A lotta peeps moved there from FT

Feels like giving up to blame the rng. Same game, same cards imo. You guys played many hypers yet? I suck and has given me a feel for just how luck based poker cam be sometimes...

meh.. who knows.. lol.. not sure what RNG is, but yeah, might possibly just be the bad run and me moving to PS at the same time that's making me associate both of them together.... but don't get me wrong.. not giving up on poker.. but i just get this dirty feeling when i go on stars cause of all of the nasty beats i got from PS.. but that's just human nature... and i'm sure it'll be less nasty once it happens on other sites too.. maybe i'll even start to enjoy it... Razz

nah, i haven't tried turbo's properly yet... just playing it once in a while to kill time when i don't have much to spare, but that's about it...

Random number generator mate! Uses an algorithm to determine supposedly random numbers and for the purposes of poker it's random enough. They're also regulated by an external company that checks their rng as far as I know. Best to just trust it! I've done the same thing and typed in poker rigged into google a number of times when i first started. Tonnes of people complaining they're being robbed across all the sites!

I found worrying about that prevented me from focusing on and improving my game. Really I think you have to be pretty good to win 60% of the time, so i guess 40% of the time you're either getting outplayed or sucked out on! Doesn't take much to go wrong before your graph reverses direction! As Broker says every game counts...

lol exactly bmm.. didn't mean to piss anyone off... just saw some people letting it out, and thought i'd share my experience with pokerstars as well..

just to help clarify things... i'm not as 'emotionally frustrated' with the downswings no more... i mostly just posted the initial post in this thread to empathize with the others going through the same thing to help 'em realize that they're not alone... and i guess my last comment might have been that 'push off the edge of the cliff' that might have frustrated a few people.. and i can't blame them, considering a lotta people blame the game or the software, and hearing it over and over can be quite frustrating... so no biggie... i didn't take it too personally and i hope no one else does either.. Smile

And like I mentioned before, just associated stars with my downswing cause it's the biggest swing I had and was at the same time I started there... But I'm still playing there while I'm waiting for william hill to reply to my email as to why I can't log into their servers for the past few days... And it's more reason for me to improve my game and crawl out of this break-even swing I'm having...

Oh and blazing's post 'what's ur edge' couldn't have come at a better time... The comments there really got me thinking and made me revealuate and re-prioritize my thought process while playing... Can't wait to try some new stuff out......... Once I get time.... Lol.. Gotta hate it when life gets in the way of poker... Razz

What a fucking depressing site it is. Watching droolers constantly suckout started to get a bit tiring months ago. Hands just do not hold up against retards. 90% 95% ahead consistently turn into another buy in lost with the most awful calls continually rewarded.

I had a boat on the turn earlier and when the chips went in he needed 1 out for a straight flush. He hit it and I just thought it was standard. That's how bad it's become.

Looking at my HEM stats earlier. The reports tab has around the same amount of hands for FT and Stars. The stats are similar for both sites, my game is the same, the players are a lot worse. Double figure roi on FT, break even bullshit on stars with a double figure EV adjusted roi

I could have moved up a few levels in buy-ins on all in suckouts alone, never mind the BS miracles in non all in pots. fuck YOU STARS, fuck YOU AND YOUR RETARD LOVING SITE.
