Poker player traits

Ok I'll make my first topic..

My question mostly refers to the members that have an experience in teaching poker but of course anyone can share his thoughts.

So..

Imagine you are given the task of picking one person that has no clue about poker from a group that has all kinds of people.
You need to train him to get results within a year.
What are the traits you will look for to pick your student?
Will it be high intelligence, patience, determination, psycho logic stability, ability to spend great amounts of time on playing daily e.t.c

What I am trying to find out is which traits you would consider to be the most important in creating a winning player.

Two most important things I would say are someone that really enjoys playing and will grind volume with no trouble and second is the ability to really not let short term outcomes effect their mood and/ or ability to play well (they are tilt proof or German).

The rest is easy.  Rolling Eyes

the german pun made me lol Razz i would defiantly say
1)tilt proof
2)volume grinder

the rest just comes with time
