Players that min bet every handLately with increasing frequency I've been coming across players that min bet every flop both in and out of post and min barrel 90% of turns. These guys seem to be call stations in all other aspects and I've been treating them as such. Overall this doesn't bother me too much other than the fact that I seem to be losing slightly more chips than normal. What sort of adjustments should be made when dealing with a player that uses this strategy? So far I've tried raising around 80% of these bets, but it doesn't seem to discourage them and builds the pot more than I'd like so I gave up with that pretty quickly. At the moment I've just been treating the min bet the same way I'd treat a check (folding with no part of the board and calling/raising dependant on hand strength) This works reasonably well, but I'm sure some of you will have a better strategy.

i tend not to see many of these players but i pretty much pretend the mmin bet as a check and play them as station (if they seem to be calling to much)

Thanks Wannawin, what do you think about rasing OOP? These guys seem to play the same IP and OOP so I haven't really been plaing differently OOP, despite the constant donks bets and min bets these players don't seem to reraise and get too agro.

If they are playing LAG but with small bets/pots then wait for an above average hand and make a bigger than normal bet to take them out of their comfort zone, if they show themselves to be stations, then just make big pots for value. If they can fold to the big bets or raises then open up your ranges, especially after they have seen you do it with a strong hand
