Omaha hi, agg buildI decided this morning that I am going to try and make a run up the stakes playing Omaha hi... Starting at $5 PLO... Maybe I'm commiting bankroll suicide but I have $50 in my BR, 10 buy-ins... My BR plans r as follows$5 = 50 / 10 buy-ins $10 = 150 / 15 buy-ins $25 = 500 / 20 buy-ins $50 = 1250 / 25 buy-ins $100 = 3000 / 30 buy-ins Tell me what you think, and wish me luck; I may need it |

i think u may be ok if u run well at the start but i would play $5 until u have 30 buyins before you move up. the higher u get the better the pleyer the more br u will need. plus the variance is alot bigger in omaha |

UPDATEI played about 8 hours of live 1-3 holdem NL last night so havent got as many hands in as one may like, but..........I have good news so far, in 942 hands i have a winnings of $33.20 If someone could tell me how to upload my graph id love to let everyone see it.... Just a little side note, im only playing three tables at once, although i think im a fairly good omaha player, im still relatively new to the game, and sometimes counting my wrap outs or my straight/flush draw outs slows me down, so until i can improve on that im staying at three... Hope you guys are as excited about this as i am, i truly think i can get up to my desired limits [/img] |

coldblood, i don't think you can upload directly to the forum... but imageshack let's you upload + host images (you can sign up or just do it anonymously, but i'd recommend the former in case there's a time limit on how long they host anonymous images)
then you just click the picture you uploaded and click "forum code" and copy and paste that into a post, baby ;] ;] ;] |

Here it is finally guys, i got my chart up, As you can see im doing fairly well. Im kinda unhappy with my play, around hand 975, i made a foolish naked bluff and lost a full buy-in...Besides that im playing tight passive pre-flop and tight and VERY aggressive post flop, and that is the style i am aiming to play I wish i could get more time on the comp; Unfortunately im currently working 55 hrs a week and girlfriend is getting on me about me playing poker live and online....might have to drop playing live a little to see where this omaha thing goes... |

redeposit?After my trip to Atlantic city i thought to myself why stay at the $5PLO, it is going to take me some time to move up, and id like to get to some stakes that matter sooner than later. I have some money from my live BR i could add on...These are the three things i could do, (1) nothing and just continue with my current BR. (2) Add enough money so i could play at $10PLO (3) Add enough money so i could play at $25PLO Which one you think is a good chose? I also would have new BR requirements $10 - 20BUY-INS = $200 $25 - 25BUY-INS = $625 $50 - 30BUY-INS = $1500 $100 - 35BUY-INS = $3500 Will I be against much harder opponents at either $10PLO or $25PLO? Will a jump in competition from $5PLO to $25PLO be to much at once? I have been having mixed results playing live NLH(partly because i play after work and games dont start until 5 hours after work ends and i become tired and it is hard to focus at the table at 3am), so maybe this is a better way for me to go ATM(I won in AC  )

Personally I think this is suicide - 30BI when playing 6max nl is prob to low and would suggest you should have 50BI min - if your playing plo this should be at least 75 - 100.... I would stick at the 5$ till your have at least this gl btw

Uploaded with ImageShack.us FYI i have played about 1k hands at $10PLO After playing like crap last night and this morning...I told myself to stop being a POW(pay off wizard). I have recovered my loses and then some. Id like everyone to take a look at my stats...Since moving from 5PLO to 10PLO i have noticed people being much more agg preflop and this has lead to my non-showdown winnings dropping. Should i be okay with this? Or should i be fighting harder for what may be free money |
