Yeah I always wonder why their average buyin is 15 dollars over so many games when they could easily move up. Pretty sure I played this guy as well!

You say that, but I'm not sure it's that true. He has obviously learned to multi table, and crush the fish at the $10-$20s. Not saying he could do that, or even beat the higher levels at all.
Those are pretty sick stats.

I played him again just now and he had some strange plays that I'm seeing a ton of from winning player on this site. It's the mini min or just min 3 bet.
So I'm making it 40 and the mini min 3 bet would be raising me to 60 and the min 3 bet is raising me to 80. Now I never thought about it at first as a lot of the games I played I'd had a decent amount to drink but today I'm playing soba and seeing it again.
Normally from a losing fish I think it's just standard retardation but I've been having this done to me as I said by lots of winning players so all I can think it that they are not really doing this for value but seems that they are just trying to re take the initiative to then take it down with a c bet post flop.
Is it just me or do many others see this from the better players you're facing and if so how are you combating it?
I personally have been mini min or min 4 betting them pre flop and they often flat and fold to a half pot c bet on most flops.
So if I make it 40, they 3 bet to 60, I 4 bet to 80 and they call which seems to get them to stop doing it.

It happens all the time. Well form the first time I played on Stars I started seeing it.
I like your idea about how to combat it, it became very frustrating. It's impossible to put them on a range, and you are going to have to fold so often to their cbet.

Yes I nearly never saw it in FT and see it every day on Stars, maybe a coincidence??
But yes if it's a fish I often flat call for the great odds I'm getting, vs a winner I'm min betting back and that seems to mess their plan up.

I posted the impressed part before I played him (his results). He's ok but just weird 3 betting that I only assume is to re take the initiative but more often than not I imagine would just get you into trouble.

Agreed.
I have experienced this but didnt really notice it enough to mention it.
They seems to min 3 bet and always C bet taking that all so important initiative taking it down.
