New structure and rake on stars

Looks like pokerstars is copying the full tilt structure.
Turbo -> 3 min blind level
Non -> 6 min blind level

And also other blind levels if i am not mistaken.

IMO:
I like the blind structure. However, it seems to me 6 min levels for reg speeds are too short. Perhaps this is a way to recoup some lost revenue (As all good companys would do) However the revised blinds and added levels will  even things out a little.

Well i always thought 10min blind levels were a little excessive anyways.

FML i loved the slow structure, guess i'll go play some games now on the new structure :/

New structure is awesome imo =)
They should've kept it the way that more than 1 player can sit a buy-in level tho =/

you should be focusing on 10bb/15bb/20bb etc play rather than a specific structure as a whole. if your game is good based on BB's then you should transition well to any beatable structure

It is, I understand it all honest  Very Happy

I actually always prefered the Full Tilt structure though. The Structure on Stars is longer, but the blinds explode from nothing to mega in the blink of an eye on Stars.

I like it... I just hit the $100 mark in my account and was pondering whether to move up to $5s... now I don't have to, I can just play on $3 for a while until about ~$150.

I tend to struggle in a lot of games when effective stacks hit <20 don't suppose you have any more words of wisdom to share, maybe point me in the direction of some reading material?

loads of material on husng.com even with just standard membership, but Mersennary I think does a couple fo vids on that type of thing but you need premium membership to see the $50 buy in plus stuff....I'm sure in a few of Brokers games he covers that as well...
