Need advice about switching to FTP's Double Stack HU.Want to work on my deep game so going to switch to deep stack for a while. Any advice about adjustments I need to do?

I didn't make any adjustments at all personally. You can simply afford to be really patient.

Ok. I guess the only thing is you need to be smarter making laydowns like in any deeper stack situation.
I avg 12.1 minutes for regular speeds. Anyone know what I should expect in doubles?

I have kind of a small sample of these, only like 150-200, but it should be around 15-17 mins I think.

you will average around 20 mins if playing correctly , and as Dom said just be patient you can sit back and wait for hands , action is very very slow at times so if ur playing for a living its gunna be tough (i played these for months) and unless your facing thinking players which generally you never are try to avoid 3betting dynamics as its just not needed.
Keeping pots small is the name of the game

i'd have to party disagree
if you play $50s and below deepstacks will be great for you because there's plenty of action...your hourly will in all likelihood be significantly bigger than in reg speeds/turbos
once you up, i'd definitely switch to turbos/reg speeds tho simply because action's way too dry above $50s.

One thing I will add to this, is that that I would not jump straight into playing deepstacks, speaking from my own experience your game can becoming fairly weak and passive (Although still proftible) I think good experience in heads up reg speeds + turbos will do you the world of good for deeps.

i like both but deepstacks are much easier if u are card dead. you can fall into the trap of check fold check fold. u still need to push your opponents where you can but in the end its about slowly bleeding there stacks

You are right about finding them a little slow. I am finding that I can successfully 2 table them without the problems I had in regular speeds. Some of that is that I am a better player now and that the structure makes it a lot easier. I have a bunch, 2551 total husngs 53.5pc win rate but that means just over break even. Problem is I win in $5s but lose in $10 (49.4pc winrate). Started a bankroll challenge 11/18 with $157.50 and have double it but, thats with practically no play in December. Will be moving back up to $10s really soon now. Want to get at least 100 games in at doubles then will move back up. I really do like doubles. I think they require you to have more poker skill to play in, like any deep stack situation. But people are right it is a limited area to specialize in. There just aren't enough games above $20 to play at. Above that level I will have to go to PokerStars and play regulars and will still have to go to turbos to play big stakes. Never really understand why the turbos and super-turbos became so much more popular. I guess the increase in hourly is why on FTP and on PS you need to get you fpp for Supernova to have a decent rakeback.

if you have played alot of cash then you will find these easy. you have to understand that some cards increase in value the deeper you are with the other player. things such as pocket pairs and suited connectors deffinately go up in value when faced with a raise/3bet.
if you have an edge in regs then it will be amplified in deepstacks. I dont play them myself much because I find they drag out too long for me. but as borg said they will probally weild a better hourly and they are also better on you mentally as you can acheive higher ROIs which in turn leads to less variance
