My beginning HUSNG and March challangeHi, having read quite a few posts now and having been pointed in the right direction of a good post by Blazing I am going to set myself some targets.I will be starting at $10.50 HUSNG on stars (due to being unable to get RB on FTP). my rules- Will be playing with 20 BB if i drop down to 15BB at any point i will move down and grind out $5. At no stage this month will i be playing cash games with my roll!!! and i will not be tempted into playing $50+ tornos with my roll. This is usually where my roll goes!! I will not move up higher than $10 this month even if built a healthy roll - can look at this end of March. My aims- 1- to finish the month with a roll having only deposited once (this is big for me as years of really bad bank roll discipline). 2- to play 500 $10 HUSNG (roll depending) 3- I will spend an evening a week watching videos on here and trying to improve my game via forums, asking for advice and viewing past games. 4- Become a regular poster on here and post regulary on how I am doing on my challange this month. Been on here a few days and just like to say there seems a good vibe on here and thanks to everyone who has replied to my posts this weekend makes a change from sarcastic replies you get on 2+2. Sausage i think that is easily manageable.
2 tables average 10 a day thats 5 games of 2. thats is approx 300. Saturdays i regulary play all day grinding hours n hours of tornoments i reckon 50 extra every weekend is easy makes my 500 not a figure i just made up!
I hope to reach it!! a goals there to aim for! |

In theory it may be easy & I hope you do achieve it, but....... You need to account for real lfe issues and most importantly the times when you lose 5 in a row & decide to quit for the day etc. Anyway, I look forward to you reporting in a months time that you have surpassed your goal. |

I agree that it's going to be really tough but I also hope you pull it off. If you hit over 500 games in a month then (by april 1st) I'll make a leakfinder video out of your toughest game for free.

and Brokerstar ill take you up on that!!! Well just put my first 15 games in playing 2 table and i have a win record of 9 to 6 so i happy iwth that not having played HUSNG for a month or so. Anotehr question i take it you get your graphs from sharkscope... i looked on mine and it says opt in ill do that later and thatll all i need to do to put graph on here?? ps. i know its not march yet but ill start and end a day early
a winning start not by much but its agood start 1 thing i have been doing since watching videos and reading threads is taking into the other guys style instead of betting the otehr guy of every pot so thanks again brokerstar for this great site and everys helpful threads!! |

hello all an update putting the games in
i have now played 68 games won 37 lost 31 not a great win margin but still a win margine i guess
Played 2 4 man $10 aswell and won those so am $60 in profit.... slowly slowly and all that! |

Quite chuffed with myself as my roll doesnt usually last long and im heading up! 82 games played thats the lots for today W47 L35 getting close to 100 game point! |

Hey all update is still ahve my roll longest ever in a month haha!!
been playin $11.50 HUSNG turbos i found that more fish wanna bluff at me than on the $10!! been 6 tabling mostly quantity rather than quality but had a few shots at 22 34 n maybe one or 2 50/100
had a little win in a 180 man $12 can 2nd for about $300 so my roll now stands at $930 and the 500 game mark must be close i must sign up to sharkscope to see!!! Anyways away for weekend no poker  have a good weekend all!!

Crashed and burned!!!!
was happy ticking away round $900 played a few tornos was deep in 2 tornos 30 odd left 12K up top in one have JJ flop XXX low cards donk pushes with A10 blinds big i snap hits ace on river 2nd torno AQ about 80 to go $22 torno big money again im top ten flop XXQ i have AQ called an push on flop guys 77 hits 7 on river!! Im now on super tilt play few $33 turbos lose a few try n make it back by playing $55 then a ton one! boom next day all gone!! I am threaders cant take the tilt monster first week n half played solid put the games in n threw it all away cant take it!!!! poker is evil!!! I first started HUSNG orginal graph was -12 ROI got it back to -8 and was improving! Does making gold star on stars make up for this in 2 weeks no!!!! ARGHHHHHHHH!!! till next payday......... |
