Linoleumaz on FullTiltHi everyone!
First of all I would like to introduce myself. I'm Paul from Lithuania, currently 18 years old. I've been playing HU sit and go's for about a year and a half now, but didn't take it seriuosly at all. Well, until now hopefully!
I registered at tagpoker forum what I think was a month or so back, but didn't read any articles or to be fair watched any videos. Yesterday, I came here and about ten minutes later I found out that you can get a ton of help from experienced HU players and find lots of on about almost every topic there is in poker. So, I want to start play this game a little bit more seriously from now on and I would be extreemely happy to make enough money for a small trip to other country like Spain, Portugal or something like that. Also, I wish to study electronis with music in the UK university, so an extra buck is allways welcome in my account's ballance! Wish me luck!
For the first month I would be happy to:
[x] play 200 games at 5$ level;
[x] win at least a little bit of money;
[ ] watch 15 videos of Broker playing, take notes on interesting hands.
Thank you for reading!
Oh, and before I go, this is my graph until this moment (I didn't take the game seriuosly):
you're also welcome to add me on skype: wipp.lt
I would love to chat with someone about poker!

Looks like you have quite a solid foundation to work from. Its not luck you need, just try to improve better than your opponents and you will win....... In the long run

Hey guys!
Just a quick update (definitely no one is (yet) interested):
Last three days gave me a little downswing (~60$), but I've managed to win some of my money back today. I'm 40$ in profit since I've created this thread, so it's not so bad after all. Played 97 games until now with a 8% ROI (suxxxx). Still hadn't much time to watch broker videos, but I promised myself I definitely will. Oh and I've noticed some interesting facts (as you could call them) about tilting and mindsetting for poker. I'll try to write a small post about it, but after I will thing everything through (don't want it to be such a mess as this post). OK, theese are my results for this day, keep running good guys! Love this forum!
and also: I know my sharkscope graph is just ridiculous and I want to cry every time I see that b@#$, but what can you do... still better than -10K as I've seen on some guys haha (optimist)

I'm interested mate.
Looks like you already have pretty solid base to work from. Update your thread, I read them all, even if I don't post in them. I will make a point of posting in yours from now on.
For what it's worth, there seems to be less posts on the forum now than there has been for a while, despite the site growing, in particular the bankroll building threads. I really like them though, it's really good to watch peoples journeys.
Stick at it.

Hello everyone
So, another week just passed by. In a poker world I hadn't much of a success all week long except today. I made +10 BI in 5 dollar level which is allways nice! Totally I've played 148 tournaments since the beginning of this thread and I will continute to do this. Don't know if I will manage to complete my challenge no. 1, which was to play 200 tournaments and watch 15 videos, but I think that quality is better than quantity, so I won't play just to reach those numbers. Poker is a thing to enjoy
I don't have many hands where I'm not sure what the best decisions would be, but I think that I'll have tons of questions in 10 dollar level as soon as I get there.
For now I have to work on my physics project where I will have to make animations explaining physics kinematics using flash. Used it only a couple of times before, so it won't be easy for me, but I think I'll manage to crack this thing open.
So yeah, not a bad week for me actually, I hope everything is great in your lives too.
Have fun playing, GL!
Oh, and ROI after 148 games on pokertracker is 9.73

Thank you, thank you.
If you may, I would like to ask everyone a question that is bothering me for a while now. I spend more and more time on poker, playing, reading, listening, watching. And I have this feeling of insecurity inside me. Where is this leading me? What I'm missing out on? Will I manage to play profitably for alog time in the future? How is this affecting my personality?
I actually have this concern for everything I do in my life. Is it really worth the time I'm putting in? Where this road will lead us to? What if I will choose my path wrong?
Not tilting, just curious young mind Oh, and had a pretty good day today

Hi guys! I'm running really good in poker! Almost reached the 10 dollar level (350 dollars br) and will be doing a shot at the games tomorrow or on tuesday. Keeping my roi at around 15 percent which I think is a pretty decent result. Oh, and managed to make couple of animations for the physics project. It's running slow but steady. Ok, best of luck at the tables! Gonna post some hands when i will have a chance.

10% ROI is fantastic really, so saying 15% is pretty good is an understatement.

Yeah, 15% is the nuts!

Hey! I did it. Played 200 games in one month. Theese include 5 or 6 shootouts in 5$ level, a lot of 5 and 6 dollar regular games and 5 11$ turbos. Done this with almost 20% ROI.
My graph from the 1st challenge:
Sorry, won't show my nickname yet.
Since I don't have a rakeback it's pretty sick how much money I don't recieve back. I think I will be cashouting and redepositing to another account or another room. Heard that stars.fr is very easy.
Thanks guys! Every response to the topic just makes me smile and it's nice to know that someone's reading!

Bare in mind there is also no rakeback on Stars.fr, just a VIP system as far as I am aware. Sick heater at the end of the month, well done

Hey, just wanted to let you know (just for myself) that I'm alive and OK and playing when I want to. It's ashame that i've lost a lot of money when FT closed down, but now I'm on Paradise, doing OK. Hope to continue this blog after the summer when FTP will be hopefully up and running again. See you guys, best of luck at the tables.

Dude I know the feeling I had a bunch of money on FT too but fingers crossed they get it sorted sooner rather than later as I'm looking forward to seeing another sky high graph and becoming the poker forum with by far the most winning player members
