I'm new to the site, I found it last week and decided to take up some coaching with brokerstar to try improve my game.
A little bit about me: I'm a uni graduate who gets very bored at work  I'm very competitve and really get into games, hobbies. I played poker on and off over the last year very sporadically but decided to try take it a bit more seriously about a month ago when I discovered husngs. I love the format and would really like to become good at this. I've only played around 200-250 games and have a very slight positive ROI so I am not a very good player but am determined to climb the stakes and get to around the $20 games by xmas time.
I've only had one lesson so far a few days ago which was extremely useful and am hoping to get the rest done over the next 2 weeks. I am currently playing a bit on pokerstars since my FT account got frozen cos they require identity confirmation. Once that is done I'd like to move all my money to FT so unlock the deposit bonus and get rakeback there. I plan on playing the FTP regular games.
Anyways I'll post my graph here till now which isn't very good as you might notice Everyday I plan to post my session details, I know ideally I check my winnings every week but I think this will keep me motivated to obtain my target volume.
My targets for the near future:
Volume: 4hrs a day = 16 games a day
Bankroll: Build bankroll to $1000
$2 games until $100
$5 games until $350
$10 games until $800
Hopefully if I can obtain a 10% ROI (min target after lessons with brokerstar) at all 3 stakes this will take me around 1000-1200 games meaning about 2-3 months so around xmas time, beginning of new year.
So if I'm about to take shots at the $20 by that time I will be happy.

Great to see you here man and glad that you have a plan, make sure you stick to it.
If you're stuggling with player types, hands etc then this really is the place to post about it and one if not a few of us will help you get through it.

I've been very busy this week with work so didn't have time to play except at night when I'm usually quite tired - I dont think this is ideal so I dont like playing long sessions, I tilt much more easily + I dont play at my best. My 1st session 2 days ago I wasn't hitting any flop or hand it was quite frustrating.. made me tilt a bit. Today was better, although my last game I lost a ridiculous amount of all ins with me favorite.
I'm playing the pokerstars turbos for now as the regulars are too slow for me there and its better rake on the 2.14eur games.
Hopefully next week I can put in my target 4 hrs on the FT regulars if they decide to thaw my account

Been a while since I updated this.. had another busy week but I managed to put in some volume yesterday.. Only around 70 games played though which is too little. I need to try and make time for poker.. hard to do when yr flatmates want to go out every single day
Not doing too great, I feel like I am getting the hang of my opponents, grind them down slowly to 800 or so then make some stupid mistake and let them get back
Overall though I'm quite hopeful I feel my game's improving and hopefully I get a couple more lessons with Dom over the next 2 weeks... an upswing must be there somewhere.. surely

I'm close to unlocking a $20 bonus on FT + I'd like to manage to transfer $30 over from PS.. my BR would be at around $100 then and I'd be close to moving up to the $5 games[/img]

Considering that you're right at the begining of your poker career, the sheer fact that your graph is heading up is something that you should be proud of so don't be too critical of your results.
Most poker players can't do that full stop. Always working on your game and taking time to think about what you're doing will steadily just increase you results.
