The other day I was talking to a friend about the EV line. And I just realised (never thought about it before) that in the long run, the distance between your EV and actual winnings tends to infinity with prob 1 (either +infinity or -infinity)!
Of course if you are a winning player, then your winnings should be tending to +infinity faster than the EV line can tend to -infinity whatever happens. But it's still a scary thought... |
