I think the bigger issue is not that we have to play a bot, I would imagine that we would be able to exploit a bot pretty easily after a while, although I have no idea how advance they are to be fair.
More worryingly is the fact that they aren't happy with just taking the rake, but now take back money from computer players playing the tables, seems a bit wrong to me.
How about if you want full tables, invest some money in decent software, decent bonus sytems, quality customer support, and a bit of advertising.

Most of the grinders there get in on illegal 55% rakeback, but in general I agree. Why don't these small sites see Stars/FT software as the benchmark and actually try to get theirs up to scratch?

Money, I am guessing, but there is a real gap in the market for a another quality set up, in the absence of FT (For now at least)
Party Poker are the ones who could really have taken advantage, by lowering their ridiculous rake, but there is a chance there for someone to take for sure.

This broke a couple months ago and instantly cut the number of low-stakes hu tables in half. The bots were actually winners, but I'm up on them .
