Introduction timeJust wanted to introduce myself formely on the website.
So hello all!, my name is Ian.
Ive been intrested in poker for about a year but despite many wins I have made an overall loss during this time. I think my biggest downfall is playing in higher stakes games too quickly instead of working my way up through the levels. Greddiness never pays off afterall.
My other flaw is not taking the time to understand the game or putting in the homework to improve it. I definetly prefer heads up as I seem to get bored too quickly in 10 man sit and go's etc which leads to loose calls and bad play overall.
I am very keen to learn and become a winning player however small. I have signed up to brokerstars course today which I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into.
Not going to rush it and then will try things out in the lower stakes games. I know that crushing the lower stakes is going to be better than the odd win in the higher stakes afterall.
Loving the forum already and can clearly see that many guys on here are very good players that I can learn lots off. Hopefully in time I will be able to give loads back as well.
