Impressive Title!(Title name unashamedly borrowed from the name of a game my friend programmed.)
So, not sure if many of you will remember me - I've been away from poker for 5-6 months, for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, I wanted to get my degree finished and out of the way with. I've now graduated from Cambridge with my maths degree, and as such have officially finished my education! 21 years old, in education for ~18 or so years of that. Feels like my life is about to begin! I've got a job secured in a top company working as a software engineer starting in around 6 weeks.
Secondly, I had really bad issues stemming from depression resulting from poker, ending up feeling suicidal on multiple occasions just from the whole thing. So one day I just decided I wasn't going to play anymore, and stopped completely. I figured it was far more important to look after my mental health than to play a game resulting in a tiny amount of money to add to my bank account.
But! Having had a break, and managing to get my mental state back on track, I'm here to have one last stab at poker. If it doesn't work out, that's it, I can move on with my life happily knowing it's just one of those things that isn't for me.
So, here's the dice:

(*) Starting budget - $100.
(*) I'm going to be playing the $3.50s on Stars, with the hope of moving up to the $7s if I reach $250, and moving down to the $1.50s if I go below $50.

A Little Mathematics...
My initial goal is to get to $500, and I was curious how many games it would take me at a 10% ROI. Well, at a 10% ROI, I'll be winning $0.35/game up to $250, then $0.70/game after that.
So the total number of games required should be 150/0.35 + 250/0.7 = 786ish. I guess I'd better get started!

Games played: 21 $3.50, 1 $1.50.
Games won: 11 $3.50, 0 $1.50.
Current bankroll: $97.38

Not a great day, need to find my feet again... The people I played were fairly competent, with a couple who clearly have a good idea of what's going on. I don't remember much about how the $5s used to run back when I played before, but I think these $3.50s are quite a bit tougher. At the moment I feel too tired to play anymore so I'm going to just do some study before bed.
