HowdyHi guys,
I'm Quimp. I have a couple posts on 2+2 but decided to join TAG poker (who wouldn't!?)
I'm a microstakes player and damn tired of it! I have over 2k HUSNGs under my belt. Every time I tried to move from the 5's to the 10's, it didn't go well. I've also started to tilt lately as a result.
Graph at the 5's...
Earlier this month I got fed up of playing with 250 BIs (I know...) so I withdrew everything but $150. I will be moving up using this bankroll guide (I think I found it on this forum):
1. $2.15 games, 15 buy-ins, bankroll 32.25 to 78.75
2. $5.25 games, 15 buy-ins, bankroll 78.75 to 210 <-- here with 190
3. $10.50 games, 20 buy-ins, bankroll 210 to 525
4. $21.00 games, 25 buy-ins, bankroll 525 to 945
5. $31.50 games, 30 buy-ins, bankroll 945 to 1837.50
6. $52.50 games, 35 buy-ins, bankroll 1837.50
Above all I have 2 objectives:
1. Make sure my time is worth it (360 hours @ 2$/hour has too big an opportunity cost)
2. Learn to evolve as a player, and not stay within my box
In other words, play better and move up.
I play around 150 games per month but I'm working on improving that. I also have a hard time studying by watching videos, hopefully I can start focusing on that part I have always let aside.
Looking forward to contributing and printing some money.
Cheers,
- Ben

welcome
nice graph.... the difference between $5 and $10's and $20's is not huge... from the looks of it you should have been pounding the $20's. You should add players to skype... there's allways people here willing to help.

welcome, nice graph
I think using 25BI for any level is usally a standerred but just play with want ever amount of BI's you like, as long as you have a move down plan.
best of luck @ the tables

Wow sexy graph and welcome to the site.
I can't imagine why with a graph like that you'd ever have problems moving out of the $5 games, the competition really isn't much different.
Look forward to you getting involved.
Enjoy
