Hi everyone I am new to HU but not new to pokerHi there
I found this site on 2+2 and i am very eager to have a go at HU
I play mostly 9 man sng and tournaments
but my HU game is seriously lacking and I am hoping to convert my hu in the 9 mans to + on the 1sts and not + on the 2nds as it currently is
so with that in mind I will take the challenge and try to turn my $50 in to $5000
now how long should this take at 150 games a week ?
or should i be looking to only play 1 game at a time not 6 like I am normally playing
any way I hope to make some friends on here
and hopefully I can contribute back to this site in some way
regards To all
Ron

Hi, and gl with husngs. I would definitely not multi-table if you're just starting out. Wait until you're very comfortable playing hu and consistently beating the stakes you're playing.

welcome
definatly only play 1 at a time, if your playing 6 your just auto piloting and not addapting to your opponenets imo.
i suggest you watch as many videos as possible on the site and then post a tonne of hands for people to give you feedback.
Also adding people on skype and talking to them is a good way to go as well

Hello and welcome to the site.
I think at 150 games a week and a solid game plan that ten weeks is realistic. But again it really depends on how good your game is already.
Very best of luck and make the most of the free videos to help you on your way.

ya 1 to 2 tables max. the key to winning hu is adjusting to your opponents and exploting them. playing 6 tables is way to many for hu to be any sort of winning player. u might make 2% plus rake back but u could be making 15-20% roi playing 1 table. coming from a former mtt and sng player the adjustment is big but u learn so much more by playing so many more hands hu and alot more post flop

well I 100 games into my HUand I am doing ok
certainly the course from Dominic live interesting
and I have learned a great deal
but havnt got to the loose ag and tight Ag
so i get beaten up a bit
some of my
Hu game is ok specially if I end up short stacked
but the aggs do me in way to often
so might watch some vids on dealing with the ags while waiting for lesson number 3
and yes 1 game is heaps
so often when 6 table sng you end up 2 table s
Hu and another table on the bubble it is real hard on the brain
but the stacks are usually short so a lot all in /fold decisions
any way I am enjoying the site and the coaching
