Hi all from a noob.Hi, I'v been playing poker (badly ) for a couple of years now on and off. Mainly with friends and the odd £10 casino tournament.
Anyway I finally plucked up the courage to join WHill (didn't use the rake bake opption, doh!!) on line and have been playing the HUSNG micros after watching loads of the excellent vid's on this site and the ones posted on viddler I'm just about keeping afloat. After seeing various posts containing graff's and player stat's on here is there any way of tracking my progress, or lack of it, other than the software used on the WHill site itself? Hope thats not a too dumb first question, cheers all and GL at the tables

OK i had a look at the link to the rake back offers and didn't see anything that mentioned William Hill so i got in touch with them about it and the live op said they dont do that but give player bonus's instead. Is that right or am i missing somthing here
Cheers.Dave.

A lot of sites, PokerStars included, run systems where players earn a certain amount of points in relation to how many games they play and at what buy in levels and these points can then be cashed in for bonuses. Sometimes they are also cross referenced to fit in with a sort of VIP system where you work your way up the levels and earn money this way rather than earning a direct percentage of your rake back. Its not as good as rake back for the lower limits but as you get more volume in and play higher levels it can be just as good as and, in some instances, better.

Thanks for that YATHINNK and Kingmunky for the PM ( not enough posts to reply back, sorry fella. )I think Im going to just sit in the free touneys on the WH account and join another site using a rake back deal. Does Pokerstars get the nod?
Cheers.Dave
