Any1 wanna spell this out for me? really starting to annoy me recently.

Below you can see the only all in hand i lost was AJs VS QQ in a match with -$128.84 diff in EV

yet it shows up as -$371 in ev on the graph

Im probably just being a retard but can someone eloborate and how this is worked out?

is it taking 128 off of the 500 BI leaving a total of 371-?

because you only had 600 chips or w/e its only a 128 gain in ev and the other 371$ he'd locked up in non all in pots? something like that

yer its annoying how it works. aggs i've put cliffs in for you,

basically its like this

if you lost the match while drawing dead you'd lose the BI eg/. 500, so as a math equation it would look like

BIEV + $EV = BI (BIEV is the redline outcome)

so with the above example i posted

-$500 + $0 = -$500

so this shows that BIEV + $EV has to equal the original BI

so for the match you posted it would work like this

BIEV + $128 = $500

so we rearrange to find BIEV (aka redline outcome)

$128 - $500 = -$372

so the $EV of the match is as you said -$371 (the tiny difference is because of rake)

CLIFFS
any all-in EV event, is only aggregated to the result. Therefore 1 positive $128 decision is only added to the final out come of -$500. Leaving the final EV result as -£372 (the slight difference in calculations is due to rake)

i hope this clears this up.
