Hello from across the pondI've been reading the forums and working my way through the videos for the last few weeks and finally signed up. A little background..... I'm a university student in the states studying physics and math. I started playing NL Holdem this past summer and since then have been working hard to improve my game with information from the web and a few books. I stumbled across this site and I've been impressed with the quality of the training videos and attitude of the better players towards beginners.
For the most part I play micro stakes 9-handed ring games and sngs, so the only experience I have with HU play is postflop and end tournament. I would like to learn to learn brokerstar's "low-ball" type HU strategy and try a $50-$500 HUNL sng challenge, but right now I'm swamped with school responsibilities (I pay to grind ). My plan is to keep learning and improving until things slow down for me in late December and then
re-evaluate what coaching I might need for this. Anyways, I hope to contribute to the forums what I can. I already have a few questions to post, but I want to wait until I've had to a chance to read and make sure they aren't already answered in some of the theory threads I just got access to.

Wordslip, I think I just try to associate low ball with anything other than games that kill my horse play.
