Hello fellow grinders :)Hi y'all,
My name is Steve, I'm 24 years old and I live in Belgium. Started my bankroll with $50 from pokerstrategy.com. Started playing micro full ring cashgames. Then i switched to STT's. I've been playing online poker for allmost 3 years now. Showed profits playing stt's on stars ($16,5turbo's) but with a low Roi, about 8%. After that i switched between different sites to grind out the deposit bonusses (Party, PKR, Bwin and 888). Generally playing 6max cashgames (25NL,50NL). For the last 6months i played MTT's on 888, with succes! But due to lack of time i can't play this kind of games every day. I started reading about HU SNG's and this kind of games interest me allot because of the skill that comes to play. I still have a lot to learn about this game, especially not to tilt I have a bad temper... That's why i subscribed to this site. Verry willing to learn. And hopefully not tilting that fast.
Sorry for the bad english

Welcome to the site my man there's a ton here to help you on your way. I know a thing or two about tilt and it's evil. You need to figure out a way to detach from the feelings.
For some it's just stop playing, for others it's the realization that getting it in good is money long term, others need a tilt room to break stuff and some guys just need to play with deeper bankrolls.
Find out what triggers your rage that you can do something about and fix it.

Thx broker,
Normally the realisation of getting it in with the best hands was enough not to tilt in cashgames. But when playing HU for a while i get nervous or anctious. MayB it's something i have to get used to. Only played about 50 hu sng's 11$bi, so i got allmost no experience... I got copple of questions. Mayb you can tell me where to ask them or answer them yourself.
What is a good sample to determine my ROI?
Witch HEM stats do most players use on their opponent?

I think it depends on what format you play to be fair. I mean if you want to be anal then you can say 10,000 games will give you a good idea but in truth your game should be constantly evolving (so your ROI would be changing), you'll be moving up stakes etc so when you're starting out, I wouldn't even worry about ROI and instead just focus on getting better at the game.
As far as HEM goes, for HUSNG's you're asking the wrong person as I nearly never use a HUD. I've been flammed for it many times over the years and no doubt they are useful tools but I've just never needed one when all I have to concentrate on is one person.
I have no doubt that some of the die hard HUD users will chime in and help you out though.

Ok thx broker
Strange you dont use a hud. I thought profiling becomes more necessary playing fewer or one player(s).

Profiling is very important it's just that when I play one person I can see if he's tight, loose, aggressive, passive etc just by his actions rather than numbers popping up on a HUD to tell me.
