I know there's a lot of players here playing on tight bankrolls and some of you who may not have actually spoken to me first hand. However, I'm posting this on here as TAG has been the main source I have used to discuss poker and meet people with the same interests as me.

I'm taking part in a fundraising event with some of my friends during June this year, basically 30 of us are being dropped 50 miles away from our hometown and we have to make it back on just £5. All the money that we raise through sponsors and donations will be donated to St Giles Hospice, who took care of a good friend of mines Dad in the week before he passed away.

They have done a great job in all that they do and I believe that what we are doing is for a great cause. I feel I have been a decent member of this community for a while now and I don't ask for a lot, but if there is one thing that I ask it would be that you could find something, anything, no matter how small, to help our cause. Obviously I understand that not everyone will have the money, want to donate, or even like me enough to care on how the fundraising goes but I feel that this is a good place to post as the family like atmosphere is obviously prime here.

we should set up a tourny on homegames, i'm sure that would get alot of people to donate. or dedicate the upcoming tourny where all winnings go to the fundraiser or something like that.

So far with everything we've raised more than we ever expected.

Honestly can't state how much I appreciate the help and the fact I can come to you guys and you're all so willing to help.

There's not much I can offer but if theres anything at all any of you need then please don't hesitate to ask.

Including the tourney and individual donations, so far we've raised £143, Tom's individual total was £20, I'm completely amazed, thanks so much guys, it means the world to be able to make a bundle for this charity, it's something close to my heart personally and I couldn't be happier to help a friend who lost his Dad, taken far too early.
