Full House Querie!when final board is AAKK5 if I hold an A8 do I have a better hand than K5when final board is A669K if I hold a K6 do I have a better hand than 69 Could someone help clarify what determines the better hand - completing the pair or completing trips with pair on board. |

ah just saw the I'm new to poker post:
AAKK5 A8 = AAAKK which is better than KKKAA (AAA > KKK) so TTT22 is better than 999AA |

K5 is 2pair and 3 of a kind, as opposed to the regular full house of just 3 of a kind and 1 pair (the A8 ) on hand 2, K6 is better because 3 of a kind 6's and a pair of Kings is better than 3 of a kind 6's and a pair of 9's |
