From FR to HUSNG, Seatbelts & Airbags...

Greetings,

Super long story short, started with super micro 9- and 18-mans, moved to FR, ground out a roll for a bit and recently found myself on vacation, in the boonies and longing for some poker with a shoddy connection that couldn't handle Rush.

So I fired up a $1 HUSNG and never looked back.  I love this format.

Currently @ $5's and taking shots at $10's.  Feel pretty comfortable moving up but variance got the best of me, roll is back down to supporting $5's so that's where I'm at ATM.

Brokerstar is coaching me, I hope to prove his efforts worthwhile.

Grateful to be joining this community, you should be seeing me around.

I'm not dead yet

Sorry so long on the updates, immediately after beginning coaching with Brokerstar I landed a job that -- without exaggeration -- involves 13-hour days (plus an hour of commute) so my life has been work, drive, eat, look at my wife for about a half-hour, sleep.

To adjust, I've made audio recordings of all the training material and notes and listen to them on my break and on the commute.

The material has been fantastic and I'm downright pissed I haven't been able to devote more time but the results have been good.  Well, let me be more specific; my redline looks good (+7.7% ROI over 80 matches) but my real EV is -3.1% ROI.  Been loosing flips like it's fun to do but that's fine, 80 matches is hardly putting in the volume and at any rate, that's poker.

GRAPH!

Probably should have thrown in my graph for good measure.  This is since starting Brokerstar coaching.

just play focused and get in the volume when u can. coming from a guy who works as much as u do volume is always hard to come by. just keep it strong
