from 500 to 5k€

Hey guys i came back after a loosing streak that made me stop playing poker, and i want to roll up 5k possibly in this month.

i 2table reg speeds mostly and few turbos when i feel like, and i started few days ago from a 500€ roll playing 10€s and i am running pretty good strangely Very Happy so i decided to make a personal challange and play about 60 husngs a day and put a couple hours in studying my game.

This is my graph from when i started playing (4 days ago)

hopefully ill climb up trough the 50/100s Very Happy

Last time I saw a player that pumped in this kind of volume he went from micros to 6 figure roll in about a year!!   Rolling Eyes

Awesome looking start to your challenge, best of luck my man.

You look ready to smash it already.

Nice job.

Agree with Broker, putting in that kind of volume, and you already look like a solid winning player, I think you are going to do well. Good Luck mate.
The Little Fish

Good luck mate. What site you playing on?

Very impressive start.
GOGOGO!

thx guys Very Happy

im playing on gioco digitale (italian poker room) and im making some cash not because i'm good.. but because of the absurd donks there are around.. most of them are maniacs, some of them openshove all hands and some of them raise 20x and calls shove with j4s.

not as good as the start but still ok, note that pt3 dunno why it doesn't take rake so from the profit rake has to be detracted

even if the roi isn't that high with rake detracted i still prefer 2tabling obtaining higher hourly and unlocking bonuses faster
savrababa

You are a monster!
I wish someday I can reach half your volume.

LoL i stay at the computer all day and when i say all day i mean ALL DAY! Eat, go to toilet, sleep, poker. This is basically my life lol

2 tabling and study the game.

hopefully i can roll up some money to climb stakes.. today maybe i wont manage to unlock bonus and ill just go for the 300€ one which is quicker.. so i can play double the stakes hopefully. I really want to do this as a job in future.. i mean its the job everyone dreams.. no fixed hours, play when you want, how much you want, you can earn sums that in 1 month of work you would dream about and its the most fun game on the internet Very Happy after ill post my graphs for the day Very Happy hopefully one day i will become someone in the poker world

Your running very very well and no doubt playing very well too, you say this.

"i stay at the computer all day and when i say all day i mean ALL DAY! Eat, go to toilet, sleep, poker. This is basically my life lol"

this isnt sustainable , it is while your upswinging and feeling great but you should set yourself a scheudle and stick to it which will be incredibly important when the downswing comes, your showing great potential dont burn yourself out!

i am doing a 6 hours coaching with my friend to fix some leaks and already done 1 hour and feel really gr8.. i can feel i can crush the level and i maybe soon leveling up.. fortunately bad variance seems had went and im going up again.. theese few days i have been pretty much break even and this is my graph:
n1ghtah

you call that breakeven ?! I call it crushing .. Keep going dude. and as aggsyb points out. Dont sit at the computer all day long .. Get out and get some exercise. That will only help your game as your brain gets air and your body won't get smashed to the ground and get lazy. That is really helpful in a mental game like poker.

Keep on crushing and good luck.

yea till the 433th tourney Very Happy anyway my challange is gooing good, im feeling good and i want to grind a massive amount of volume

my br now sits at 1.098€ hopefully it will grow Very Happy

And this is todays graph:

what i'd like to point out is that im not a good poker player and i win just because i play with total retards.. i'd tell you an example of my plays..
first hand of the match, villian raises to 125 at 10/20 blinds level, i have AJ, i jam, he calls with kjsuited and i win the match. This is how it goes most of the time LoL but it looks its working..

Btw i started 4x tabling which seems to be good Very Happy
n1ghtah

@Blazing - haha i bet , I too want that kind of breakeven Very Happy

@tosapane - lol Very Happy thats very good and ofcourse your br will grow as your skills as a player. again Good luck !
U Cook Socks

Yeah, it doesn't matter how bad the players play, all you have to do is play better than the players you are playing. There is absolutely no need to do anything other than exploit the players in anyway which is going to make  you $

Of course at some point on your journey, you are going to have to learn to adapt to playing players who have 2 brain cells to rub together.
tosapane

I started 4-tabling and i'd say its going well Very Happy today im gonna level up and 2table the 20€s.. i'm a bit kinda scared but we'll see Very Happy this is my graph

Brokerstar

I have a funny feeling that you'll do just fine at the 20's.

Hey mate.
I was wondering what is your poker story before you ended up in HU.
How long have you been playing, what types of games e.t.c.
Graph looks very solid and your volume is insane Very Happy

actually i started with 20€ playing full ring sngs grinding up to 20x tables i reached 3/5€ stakes. Then i decided to switch to hu sngs and started with turbos with a low winrate, so i switched to reg speeds and found out that i can make much more $$$ with them since structure is slower and fish seemed worst in the reg speeds, i started with the 5€ and now i play 10/20s
its 2 years i play but i can only really play in summer because during school i like to concentrate on my studies

I doubt that the fish are worse at the reg speeds than the turbos. Have a think about it, if you wanted to gamble it up, you would go for a quicker structure wouldn't you ?

There are a few things that are probably worth noting.

(1) Your ROI is always going to be lower in Turbos, but your $/hour should be better in the long run (If you play equally as well in both games)

(2) Your sample size would be quite important a few hundred games isn't enough to base an assumption on.

(3) Your deep stacked game may be better than your shallow game, this would probably give you a slightly bigger edge in the Reg Speeds.

I'm not telling you to play turbos by the way, if you enjoy the reg speeds, then of course play those, especially if you feel you have a bigger edge, was just pointing out a few things you may want to take in to consideration.

Sicko graph by the way, nice job

This is for sure.. i am not really good at high blinds.. i just know the basic stuff like 3bet jamming and i use chubukov but i don't know much more, and i dont like the gambling element of the turbos, im sure i will have to switch to them one day if i want to get better traffic and grinding for a high vip status and a nice rakeback, but for now i think at lower stakes reg speeds give you better $/h since if u have a 1k bankroll, if you play 30s reg speeds if you play turbos i bet you play half the stakes for the variance involved, so you will play double the stake and less variance which is a huge factor, while if you play lets say 100/200/300s i assume you do it as a job and you will play turbos at the same stake since your bankroll can sustain both turbos and reg speeds at those stakes because most players at 200/300s want to make money at that level and not move up in stakes so i think at micro to low stakes reg speeds are better but when you play higher stakes you should really aim to better $/h and play turbos like for eg borg did

i enjoy reg speeds for lower variance and more reads/post flop play involved.

Wow you really rock if you are able to retain such a high ROI at multitabling. For some reason I suck at it Very Happy

Having a quick read through this and I don't understand. How come you transitioned to cash when it looked like you were battering the HUSNG's you were playing?
