First midmonth shootout wednesday 16th

Lets give a midweek shootout a try. Kierkegaard allready said that he would play so come beat the kierk !!

Where: Pokerstars home games

Date: March 16th

Time:  21:00 UK

Buyin fee: $5 + 0,50

Again the shootout will be organized in the home game section of pokerstars. Therefore you need to register to the Tagpoker club on Pokerstars if you have not done so allready. After that you can just register for the monthly shootout as normal.

Instructions on how to register for the Tagpoker club:

- If you don't already have it, download the free PokerStars software from www.pokerstars.com
- Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab
- Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button
- Enter my Club ID number: 45548
- Enter my Invitation Code: tagforum

That's it!

Usualy in the sunday shootout there are like 15 people on average I think... Not sure if we will get that today...

18 players wich is a very nice turnup. It does mean however that only 2 tables will play the first round. With the winners of those 2 tables we will be left with 16 and then we can all play.

Lets hope they start shoving from the start Smile

Congrats to Sausage ! It took him a long time but he finaly managed to win the tourney. Total tourney lasted close to 2 1/2 hours so next time we will speed that up a little by creating a little faster blinds.

Good to see 18 people showed up, to bad Kierkegaard1 did not make it to the final table. Better luck next time !

Can you create your own blind structure then Natch ?

In a way....

I can select game speed: normal or fast

Blind intervals: default is 10min but there is also 3min, 5min, 15min and 30min

starting chips: default is 1500 but there is also 1k 2k 3k and 5k

next time I will try 5min blinds... same starting stack. That will speed it up I guess. I will also put it to "fast game speed". I have no idea what the influence will be though.... since blind interval can also be set. Maybe cards will get dealth faster...

We will see.

We will see.


It will probably change the actual blind structure, as in blind levels, if you put it to fast it may miss out a round or two?  I would just up the blind speed if I was you, or it may end up like a super turbo.

So will just put it to 5 minute intervals then and we will see.

Will give it a try for the first saturday shootout on march 26th

I have no idea how to find the HH mate. It didn't last that long anyway.   Embarassed
