Hello Tagpoker coommunity!
First of all I want to congratulate Dominic on this fantastic site which I discovered a few days ago. I've watched several of the HU videos and am impressed by his "play the player" approach to the game, rather than on a mechanical one size fits all gameplan.
Secondly, his passion for the game and willingness to share his knowledge is obvious and this attitude seems to reflected in the forum threads I've read. This is the first forum I've joined and I'm really looking forward to getting involved.

So a little about me. My name is Donncha and I have a problem - i bloody love this game!! I first started playing about 7 years ago and played a lot of live poker for a couple of years but then moved abroad where opportunities were scarcer. Still i have been reading quite a bit and thinking about the game ever since
I am a slightly winning player because I'm basically too tight, although I know this has to change.
I've never played on ine (apart from a little bit for play money) but have finally decided to get with the programme! All the talk of stats, charts and trakers etc is all over my head but I'm sure I'll learn as I go along!

Hopefully I'll be up and running in a while and I'm pretty enthused to give the HUSNGs a go - thanks to the videos. I'll start low and try to roll up enough of a bankroll to take the course. By that stage I should have a good feel for the game and fairlly reliable stats on my own game. Smile

The videos are an amazing source of info, just make sure you take tons of notes & apply accordingly. Any problems you have just post relevant hands & we'll let you know what went wrong.

Looking forward to getting involved...baby steps at the moment though. i've started studying the videos and taking notes on the concepts and plays involved.
There is so much quality stuff here, it's truely refreshing! Dying to dive into the shark (or fish?) infested waters of internet porker, just need to sort out a few bank issues first.

There is the odd hand I would like to comment on from the vids I've watched - I'll do them in the forum threads but I'll have to post them as Jd 8s 2c etc as I don't know how to use a converter (or even if i can from the vids).I am a bit of a forum- and tecky retard tbh (tbh I only lfigured out what tbh and imo meant today from reading the forum posts lol!!)

Anyway iIdeviate...so thanks again for your welcoming words and over time as I improve I will try to give back what I get Smile
