Endgame NASH push/foldSo with this NASH chart, it includes 54s in the 20+ bb shove range. Obviously it's not optimal, but if you're up against a player you think is better than you and has been beating you postflop, would you recommend it? Same goes for all the other marginal hands at their bb limit (like A2o w/ 25bb or something). |

No. For A2o, maybe sometimes- as it is an unexploitable shove (i could be slightly wrong though at 25bb)- according to Sklansky-Chubkov, a chart that tells you what hands you can push (i.e. better EV than folding) even if your hand was face up (e.g. AA is obviously any stackdepth). No matter how bad you are postflop, you shouldn't be following Nash until at least 10bb (and even then probably shouldn't until below 8bb) in the small blind. |

I wouldn't really think about the NASH chart deeper than 10bb, and below that I would just reference it mostly.
When you think about open jamming 10+bb deep, think about how your hand plays postflop, how it plays if you minraise and face a jam and the characteristics of your opponent (calling frequenty, 3bet frequenty, limp raise frequency, among others). |
