Doodiewiz - my bankrollHey,
So i've reset my sharkscope stats as of today and desposited $50 at fulltilt. Played 10 games in total and balance now stands at grand total of $58.09 - woooo!
Unfortunately the first two games I played was against a winning player with a 15% ROI. I guess you can bump into them at any level - lost twice...Anyway I think I'm going to brush a bit and watch some of the vids here and if/when I grind to $100 I'm going to buy the cheaper choose course Brokerstar is offering - I really need it...
I'll update this as I go..

Hey guys,
well its been a wild swingy ride over the last 250 odd games and nearly went busto twice. I made the mistake of thinking that because i had an ROI of about 10% on the $5 and $10 sngs on titan heads up couldn't be too hard. Anyway I went over a few of Doms leak finder videos and was plainly obvious i'd been playing like a complete tilty donk! Anyway I think i've been slowly getting a grip on this and my main areas of improvement have been my tilting, impatience and strategy.
Also I've realised i'm starting to find sngs a bit boring now and am a reformed heads up convert:)
Anyway if anyones interested or got any words of advice or criticism they will be gratefully recieved...

just charting my progress....
So after nearly 400 games i've finally reached the 5's. LOL. This has been a big learning curve. Now running at 7% ROI and bankroll at $130

Welcome to the 5's, I've played like 200 of them now and it's been bumpy road, but I think I'll manage to find my way to 10's eventually. 
Learned a lot watching Broker's viedeos and study my game a lot too.
You will come as a winner if you work hard for your goals.

Thanks guys watched all Brokers vids now(thankyou Broker!), but go over them every now and then when I start straying too far from the basics and playing rubbish..
Quick update:
Roll at $200 and 14.5% ROI for the 5s so far. Been mixing in quite a lot of 4 man shootouts, deepstacks, a few turbos, couple of sngs and dropping down to play the 2's on occasion when feel i'm playing badly.....

also mixing it up is fine, i've been playing a good mix of 4 mans - verience is higher but ROI is slightly larger as well.

Ok I'm going to start taking a few more risks with my bankroll. It's not much to play with $220. moving up to the 10s. Gonna play those when I feel I'm playing well and back to the 5s &2s when I'm playing bad. I've got a full time job so have to slot poker in when I can...also I play poker for fun as much as money...Still want to win though of course and very drunk!!

Long time no post. I grinded my way up to about $250 dollars 15% ROI at $5 then lost 8 buyins in a row(incredible bad luck) and flipped and withdrew my bankroll and gave up poker temporarily:)
Anyway reset sharkscope and decided to regrind from the 2's from a new $70 deposit. Felt like absoloute torture, so topped it up to $150 dollars from $100 to start at the 5's.
Anyway on verge of taking shots at the 10's. Got $255 bankroll at moment - might wait a little longer till i get to $275. Says here i'm running at 15%(see graph) - its more like 17/18% as sharkscope has missed a big win streak - quite annoying! This is a small sample though so who knows how good/bad i am? I do feel like i've been running indecently good! Going to buy HEM very soon - have requested hand histories from full tilt...

Hey thanks man. Shots going ok so far. A few nits and a couple of madmen...I'm definitely enjoying a bit of a heater. Bankroll at £285....

Well the 10s haven't been going brillantly, but i'm up 5 buyins. Same players, but I started playing my bgame and that was coupled with feeling a bit uncomfortable with my bankroll size. Feeling more relaxed now with roll at £315 and on form again. Also I had a rush of 5 players one after the other all with 10 - 20% ROI playing the 10s, 20s and 30s...Managed to break even and were good games.
Just played some guy who liked to donk every pot in and out of position. I started making tiny check raises and he'd fold every time. Became so frequent he went all in against one of my mini checkraises and I happened to have the nuts:) Poker is a cruel game sometimes.

BTW: Superturbos are evil. Anyone here managed to make a profit from them?

Of course you can profit from superturbos, but dont expect massive roi
And a good rakeback deal helps greatly of course

un oh trouble in paradise! That big dip at before the end of graph is me suddenly playing really badly. Late at night, not focusing and too many games. Took stock got back on form and managed to pull it back quite easily and then suckout central arrived. You know fish going all in on flop with zero but an ace. Calls bet and hits on turn. Running jacks into aces - maybe maybe this could be a fold against an ultra tight opponent if you think you have a big edge, but was agro fish. Another cooler and a suck out and ive dipped again.
The ulitimate recipe for disaster in poker seems to be play bad and run bad. Seems you have to play well all the time because run bad happens a lot more often then you might think being a newbie to HUSNG. Yeah might give the superturbos a big berth because the varience in reg speeds is enough to send me a bit mental. Up down, up down!

Well after that little downswing and watching a few of Rypacs leakfinders and some other HUSNG videos I realised my game had degenerated a bit(i've watched all of Brokers). Wierd isn't it how you think you've cracked it and bad habits start emerging again. Anyway feel like I'm def back on form.
Roll at $410. For the $5 my ROI is 19% and at the $10 it's 10% after a rocky start. Also moving up in levels seems to be a confidence thing. Same players really. Can't say I've noticed a change. Although there do seem to be some regs at even the $10 level!! Cant wait to start taking shots at the $20s when my BR reaches $500.....

Yes you need to constantly keep check on your game to make sure all of the plates are still spinning.

graph going pretty well. Not far from having a shot or 2 at the 20's(z1s6arn, maybe we might meet!)...actually running -ROI on 6 ring sngs. Wierd I think i've been trying to play too many hands as i see so many playing heads up and have got into a few marginal situations on those, but i play very few anyway...
An obvious leak I feel I have is calling in marginal situations against fish who I feel I can grind down in the long game...
Stupid question - why no 3man/4man sng ring games?...i'd be interested in that from a heads up perspective....
